"Hale o Naia" - The House of the Dolphin, is an exquisite oceanfront estate situated on a calm cove within Kapoho Beach Lots on Kapoho Bay. Slip right into the water from the backyard landing and swim, snorkel, kayak or just float! Or take a stroll to the geothermally heated Champagne Pond and swim with the sea turtles.
Situated on a tropically landscaped lava wall lined property with banana trees, coconut palms, hibiscus and other island plants.
The House of the Dolphin offers a huge master bedroom with a king sized bed and large covered lanai overlooking the turquoise blue bay. It provides a bathroom with a jacuzzi spa tub, a mini frig and microwave in the master bedroom. The poster bedroom with a double poster bed also has its own mini frig and microwave, and small ocean view lanai. The Bamboo room with a queen bed also has an ocean view. Each bedroom provides spa robes for your comfort. And, there's even a sauna! There are ceiling fans throughout to cool you.
The tropical style decor and art works from local artists will delight you. The main living area has an open kitchen - fully equipped for cooking your favorite meals plus a gas barbeque grill outside. The indoor dining area seats 6.
The open living area with its beautiful hardwood floors, has several comfortable sofas, a television with satellite TV, a DVD player with a selection of movies, DSL internet, board games and cards and books. You will delight in the art works provided by local artists.
Outside is a covered lanai, a gazebo and a hot tub where you can sit and gaze at the star filled nights.
There is off street, gated parking on site.
Sorry, for safety reasons, no children under 10 years of age allowed. (Infants are okay). We ask that you not bring pets, but you may enjoy the owners' cats and dog on the property.

"What a beautiful place! We felt like we were in paradise. The views from the lanais were incredible. The house has so many interesting pictures, a nd such beautiful decorations. We appreciated your hospitality, Sally. thanks for all the thoughtful things you had that made our stay so comfortable, the swim noodles, the volcano back pack, etc. We spent four nights here. Our daughters enjoyed the botanical garden in Hilo, Akaka Falls, the Tsunami Museum, the Lyman House and the planatarium. The walk to the volcano at night was also worth it.
