Only 1 mile from downtown, the Chalet is on the 17th fairway of the Leavenworth Golf Course, nestled in tall pines with beautiful scenery in every direction — and no downtown noise.
The Alpen Chalet is ideal for winter recreation. With cross-country skiing available on the golf course, and just down the road at the Icicle River Trail there is no limit to outdoor activities and winter fun. We can provide you with information on all of the many year-round recreational opportunities and also assist with equipment rentals.
At Alpen Chalet, our priority is to provide a quiet, peaceful environment for our guests. Quiet hours are kept.

Why the Owner Chose Leavenworth
In 1996 we built The Alpen Chalet in Leavenworth because it is a spectacular vacation destination and it's close to our home in Bellevue, WA. It is a beautiful and scenic drive any time of the year. The mountain environment is so calming and relaxing, it was a perfect fit for us. To have a place to go to and escape the busy city life. It is also fun to watch the deer pass through the golf course while we are having our breakfast, or late afternoon coffee.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The Enchantment Mountains are just spectacular during any season. And Leavenworth has so many restaurants, that a quiet meal in the midst of the fabulous Cascade Mountains is one of our favorite things to do. We also love the seasonal events held in town. Festivals are held monthly throughout the year.

Our family recently stayed at the Alpen Chalet and it was beautiful! We were hoping for a location close to town that was quiet and cozy. The Chalet was so clean and beautiful. The owners were very accommodating to our family. We’ve been to Leavenworth many times but this was our first time staying at Alpen Chalet, we’ll definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.
