We have been visiting for the past 15 years to enjoy the desert climate. We chose this location for it's proximity to El Paseo the shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Due to the large lot it is perfect to enjoy the outdoor living.

Perfect home in Palm Desert

This house was everything we hoped for and more. The location is perfect. We would run in the quiet and secluded neighborhood in the morning and then walk to the Starbucks on El Paseo for coffee or for breakfast after that. Being in central location we had easy access to golf in Laquinta, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs. The street fair is just down the street as well. The rooms are all quite spacious and well decorated. In fact, the whole house is as nicely appointed as any Fairmont or Four Seasons resort we've been to. The pool is amazing. It is situated such that sun worshipers can get all they want but there is plenty of shade for the fair skinned as well. It is also very private with palm trees and a cinder block fence surrounding the back yard. Every bit as nice as any hotel resort and plenty of room for our group. The ladies in our group went to the tennis tournament and the guys stayed home to watch March Madness on the numerous big screen TVs in all the rooms and poolside. At night we enjoyed meals prepared in the spacious and well equipped kitchen (indoor and outdoor). We were quite pleased to find all the utensils and even all the condiments that we needed for our meals as well as the entertaining we did during our stay. Debbie was quite attentive. When the Wi-Fi malfunctioned she had her support person there in an hour or two. Then she called from Scotland to make sure everything was working! I am making my reservation for next year as we speak.

Beautiful home. We have rented many but this one is a keeper!! Debbie has thought of so many things to make the home simply amazing. Location is second to one in the El Paseo district and the spaciousness of the home along with the beautiful pool area is most desirable. We cannot wait to go back!!! What an amazing home for our Celebration! We gathered from 5 different states to celebrate friendships of 30+ years and our 'milestone' birthday. This home is both immaculate and exquisitely decorated down to the smallest details in every room. The beds are luxurious. The kitchen has everything you could imagine. The outdoor grill is a dream. As we lounged by the pool and hot tub we felt as though we were in our own private oasis! The layout of this spacious home accommodates a large group quite easily, while never feeling crowded, providing ample privacy and quiet space when needed. We shared many laughs in front of the fire place in the living room with very comfy furnishings. This home was definitely designed for entertaining! The location is an easy walk to shopping and dining on El Paseo, yet nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The photos online initially attracted us to this home for our vacation, but the reality far exceeded our expectations! The homeowner and the local property manager are both very gracious and helpful, making our arrangements and stay very pleasant. Everywhere we went in Palm Desert we were welcomed by friendly locals and store owners. The smaller airport is easy in and out. We are eagerly looking forward to our return visit to Palms on Joshua! Recommendations: Shopping at Tommy Bahama and Diane's, fun and vintage shopping at Mixed Trading Co., Martini Bar at Pacifica. Dining at Castelli's Italian Restaurant, and for a night out you have to check out the musicians at The Nest! You MUST hike the 'Bump and Grind'...what a view from on top...go all the way up, it's worth it!!! Bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen and plan to pace yourself. Easy walking trails. Gorgeous! We all agreed, this was a fantastic getaway, in a beautiful home, to create new memories to enhance our friendships even more! Thank you Debbie, our new dear friend, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Wonderful home, convenient location in the heart of Palm Desert for golf, shopping, and dining. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The outdoor landscaping including pool, spa and cooking area really couldn't be better. It's a perfect location for a guys golf outing!! I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting quality accommodations.

We stayed here for 10 days in November. The moment we got out the car and opened the front door we thought 'wow'! This is a fabulous house in a fantastic location within walking distance of El Paseo and all its shops and restaurants. The decor, furnishings and fittings are all top quality, from the double head showers (obviously for loving couples), to the 1,000 thread sheets on all the beds. The back yard is totally secluded and and the pool is a great size. It was the ideal temperature (even though we elected not to have it heated for us). Our visit was principally to play golf, so the 147 courses in the valley provided us with a magnificent choice. It was only a 15 minute drive to Thunderbird GC in one direction, and to Rancho La Quinta in the other. Our only regret was that we didn't take the 4-man golf buggy for a ride (which you are allowed to do on the side roads in Palm Desert). Hopefully, we will be back next year and can take it out then!

This house exceeded all our expectations. We brought our entire family of adults and young adults. The house is conveniently located for shopping, bike riding, sightseeing and strolling. It is spacious enough so people can do several things at the same time and not run into each other. The amenities made for easy transition and immediate comfort. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The Casita is a pleasure, self contained, very quiet, and separated from the house. The furnishings are plush, as the owner spared no expense. The beds and couches are comfortable and there are flat screen TVs in every room and even outside. I highly recommend this property for adults looking for a quiet getaway. The caretaker of the property aims to please and the owner delivers as advertised.

Elegant, beautifully decorated, warm and inviting are all words that come to mind when describing Palms on Joshua. This is the third year our group of friends have come to the desert area to vacation; this year we found the perfect home to enjoy our activites in and from. We can't say enough about the great outdoor living space (where we spent a good amount of our "home time"), with large, comfortable patio furnishings, shade areas, large bbq and outdoor kitchen, and beautiful pool and spa. The roomy, modern kitchen allowed for wonderful meal preparation, the nearby large dining room was perfect to enjoy dinners the few times we were not using the outdoor dining space, and the bedrooms, all with very comfy king beds, on suites, and flatscreens afforded convenience, privacy, and getaway time. This home could not be in a better location, with great proximity to many golf courses and easy walks to the fabulous El Paseo area with its many restaurants, lounges, and shops. Capping off the Palms on Joshua experience are a marvellous owner and property manager to work with. To both we say thank you so much for making this a wonderful, memorable vacation!

What an incredible home! The on-line photos do not do it justice - the property, pool and house are more spacious and beautiful than can be captured in a photo. There were 10 of us celebrating a milestone birthday and this was the place to do it. Our primary goals were golf, shopping, relaxing and visiting. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom (extremely spacious and exquisitely decorated) and the shared living space was huge. We never felt as though we were living with 10 people in the house. I cannot say enough about the kitchen. As a person who loves to cook and have every amenity and gadget at her hand - I was in heaven. It was great to have everyone gathered and helping in the kitchen and BBQ area and then sharing the meal altogether in the eating area. There was ample space for us to sit and enjoy coffee on the patio in the morning and then lounge around the pool in the afternoon (for those not golfing or shopping). The yard and pool are amazing! Beautiful and comfortable lounge chairs and fluffy beach towels. The Palm Home (as we called it) was so close to everything. Quick access to major routes to get to golfing, restaurants, Palm Springs, outlet shopping, Living Desert. You could easily walk to shops, dining, coffee on El Paseo. I even did a couple of short scenic runs. We would love to do something like this again and would definitely recommend this home for anyone wanting delightful accommodation, ideally situated in a wonderful warm and inviting climate.

Thanks so much for being a gracious house host! The house overall was fabulous. Beautifully decorated, extremely spacious, well equipped kitchen a plus, and so convenient to our tennis playing/watching! We enjoyed the pool and adjacent patio and fire pit areas. We had so much fun cooking and hanging out outside with our tennis teammates. For us avid tennis players, it was truly a treat and quite a memorable experience for us. Being able to watch the pro tournament, being with friends and last but not least, having a spectacular place to stay. Definitely unforgettable for us on many dimensions! Everything about the house was pretty much perfect. Would love to have the opportunity to stay there again! Thank you!
