Great Weekend

We spent a couple nights at Maggie's Cottage in hopes to ski at Cataloochee. Although the weather that weekend was not conducive for skiing we were still able to have a great weekend in Maggie Valley. We enjoyed the hot tub and local restaurants while heading over to Cherokee for a few hours one night. All in all, well worth the drive from Charlotte to get away and enjoy the change of scenery. Look forward to returning again soon. Many Thanks to Sarah for her great communication and accommodations at her beautiful home. :)

"Maggie's Cottage" exceeded our expectations! The owner, Sarah, was so friendly and helpful, an it seems that she has thought of every single thing a guest might need or want! The house is so comfortable that you feel right at home immediately. We absolutely lived on the back porch....it was like we were in the woods.....the porch is wonderfully encircled by trees! I can only guess how beautiful it is in the fall when the leaves turn! Also hearing the creek below is an added pleasure. The location is excellent--- it is very secluded but yet you can easily walk to several great restaurants and shops. It's hard to decide where to curl up with a good book....the back porch, the front porch with it's rockers and porch swing, the gazebo in the front yard, or the picnic table down by the creek! The home is also very much dog-friendly......our collie, "Gracie" felt immediately at home and enjoyed her vacation. We found several dog-friendly restaurants in the area to take her to. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation week, and I would highly reccomend Maggies Cottage to anyone planning a trip to the mountains. Very convenient to Asheville, Cherokee, Waynesville, and Hendersonville!!

The cottage is wonderful!! When you arrive it looks just as depicted and the art gallery adds a unique touch. The location is within walking distance of shops, restaurants etc... We really enjoyed our stay and the worse thing about the cottage was leaving it. The owner took great care in ensuring everything was taken care of so we literally had a worry free weekend and some great memories. We will be returning to Maggies cottage and we look forward to another great stay!! M & K - Ohio

We enjoyed our stay so much, we really didn't want to leave the cottage. The place is absolutely beautiful. We have stayed at several places in the Maggie valley area, and none of them compare, especially the location, privacy, and ease of getting to. You can actually walk to downtown!! We were so comfortable, we really didnt want to leave the cottage. The place has everything. My wife really enjoyed the Huge Jacuzzi and the Hot tub. The catering service you recommended locally was to die for. They catered to our every need. We really appreciate the last minute reservation. We will be back and will be recommending it to our friends here in Florida. Thanks again Sarah Tim and susan

My family and I had an amazing time at Maggie's Cottage. The owner, Sarah was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the cottage was even better than described. Regardless of whether we were in the hot tub or at the fire pit we flet at ease and at home there. The artwork was a definate plus. This is where my family and I will be spending many of our vacations from now on. Thanks Sarah, and tell Guy and Buddy we say "Hi".

Very beautiful home. Everything we could have wanted was readily available. It is not as secluded as I thought it would be, but it is conviently located. The only thing I could have asked for was a covered back porch due to the fact that it rained everyday we were there and there is a really nice hottub on the back deck. The owner is very nice and welcoming. For the price, it was awesome! We have two young girls and they had a great time just enjoying the yard and creek. The home was very well cleaned and maintained. I highly recomend this for any sort of a get away! We will defintitely stay there again on our next trip to Maggie Valley!
