Our family of four - 2 adults and 2 girls (4 and 7) just returned from this cabin. After staying for 7 nights, we are relaxed and refreshed. The cabin is roomy, very clean, easy to find and family friendly. The beds are very comfortable. There are several waterfalls, hiking trails and lakes close by. The babbling creek in the back yard is soothing to listen to all day/night. We also liked that Inglis grocery store is only 15 minutes away in the quaint town of Clarkesville. We recommend this property and already looking at the calendar to plan our return.

We were looking for a place to get away from Atlanta for the weekend and a friend told us about your place. They said they enjoyed their weekend, so we thought we'd give it a try. We had a GREAT time. The Panther Creek hiking trail was awesome, along with the trip to Tallulah Gorge State Park. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Thanks for the bird food, we enjoyed each morning watching them feed. We appreciate you sharing your place with us. Leonard

My husband and I, and our 2 children (ages 3 and 7) stayed here over the Thanksgiving break (total 3 nights, 4 days). I had spent HOURS trying to find an affordable cabin for the holiday weekend, as so many renters love to jack their prices way up during this time. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this cabin that fit our needs, had great looking photos, and was so affordable! I was so happy it was available and paid for the trip within a few hours. (Randy was very prompt in communication with me). I was not disappointed when we got there! It was so clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and more. The cabin is great for a couple's get away, but it also suits a family of 4 just fine! There is plenty of room outside to play (bonus's are some games they have set up outside, the creek in the back, and the many bird feeders they have set up so you can watch the birds). The other great thing about the cabin is the location. The town of Clarkesville was a short drive and had great shopping. Tallulah Falls State Park was only a few miles away and had wonderful hiking. Helen is only about a 25 min drive. And there are plenty of other things to do in close proximity, such as horseback riding, fishing, etc. Highly recommend this cabin for a get away. The owners take wonderful care of it, they don't jack up prices, and you can tell that they want to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Cabin was clean, well decorated, with comfortable furnishings. Quiet & peaceful surroundings. Just close enough to "things to do" and still maintain privacy. Highly recommend.
Owner response:Hi Jerry and Sandra, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Our door is always open and we hope we can have you as our guest in the near future. Randy

We enjoyed the outdoor time we had even with the very hot temperatures. I managed to sit at every table and glider and swing on the property. The hammock was wonderful. The inside was so comfortable and had every thing we needed, even the sugar we forgot! I appreciated all the information on the area. Thank you very much for sharing your cabin with us.

Hi Randy, Bob and I had an absolutely wonderful time at your beautiful cabin last week! We thoroughly enjoyed the R & R, enjoying breakfast on the deck and listening to the birds and the creek. Also, the birds and squirrels were very entertaining. Bob did catch some little fish in the creek. We also enjoyed the horseshoes and the hammock. The cabin was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the Minnihaha, Toccoa, and Anna Ruby Falls, and of course Helen was fun and we had a blast at Tallulah Gorge with all those steps! The views were worth it! We always love spending time in the mountains and it was so quiet and relaxing while we were there. Bob and Janet

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your cabin. I wish we had time to explore the old stage coach road towards the rear of the property. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. It is a great value (hotels are no cheaper) with so many waterfalls and hiking trails in the area. We enjoyed the cold mornings on the deck over looking the creek with a cup of hot coffee. Firewood is provided for both outdoor and indoor fireplaces although we didn't have time to build a fire. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home away from home.

We just returned from staying at the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! How relaxing it was to sit in the upstairs window seat and listen to the creek! We went to Tallulah Falls and Gorge (easy going down, hard climbing the steps back up : } ), hiked on Black Rock Mountain, and went to see Minnehaha Falls. It's out-of-the-way on a back road, but well worth going to see. We ate the Grouper Reuben sandwich (my husband got his on rye bread, I did the wrap) at RumorHazIt in Clayton - yum! We also ate at the unique Attic in Clarksville - such big portions and the atmosphere was wonderful. We would definitely recommend Randy's cabin and hope to be back!

This place and owners are absolutely amazing! Very clean and well maintained. Randal called and check on us to make that we had arrived and everything was okay. WHEN DOES THAT EVER HAPPEN? Even had a neighbor come down and set up a hammock and horseshoes for us. LIKE I WROTE AMAZING! We would highly recommend this property. When you come make sure that you bring your boat and visit Devil Fork State Park their are waterfalls coming into the lake. The creek running behind the house is so relaxing. We saw alot of wildlife on the property. Just a wonderful place. My only complaint is that we were not able to stay longer! We will back soon:)

My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing by the creek at your cabin. It is a great location, close to several places of interest. The cabin was very clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is plenty of room to walk around and not be in your neighbor's back door. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the creek, the privacy and quietness and would certainly recommend this for a couple's weekend retreat and hope to come back ourselves soon. (P.S....for a wonderful place to eat a very nice dinner, try The Attic in Clarkesville. It was recommended by several people in the area and they were right!!) John and Nancy Wilson Glennville, GA

Hi. I just wanted to drop you a note, telling you how much we enjoyed staying at your cabin last weekend. It was just what we needed! Loved the creek! In fact, everything was great. During our stay, we hiked to the Panther Creek falls, which we may not have known about were it not for your waterfall map in the second bedroom. We love "waterfall hunting"! The hike took about 2.5 hours to get in and around 2 hours to get back. It was well worth it. We took MANY pictures. Since you offered free wireless interntet, I brought my laptop along. Thanks to that we were able to attend a wine and cheese tasting at a Tiger Winery. This was also a lot of fun. And we found Rumor Hazit in Clayton. Fantastice seafood there! So, once again thanks. I'll keep a link to your cabin for future times......Have a great summer! Mike

My boyfriend and I enjoy all types of fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. This is just the place to go to get away from the city to be able to do any and all of the things nature has to offer. Just walk out the door of the cabin each morning and you are going to see anything from deer, wild turkey, or family of owls occuping the open space of the yard. We appreciate the comfort of the beds, they are the best! My favorite spot was to cozy up in front of the fireplace on those cool nights with my honey :) Thank You Randy, It was everything you said it was going to be. We look forward to our next visit. Pat
Owner response:Thanks for the kind words Pat. I am so glad the two of you enjoyed your stay. The fireplace is my favorite spot on cold evening too. I hope your able to come back soon.

My Husband and I stayed in this quaint cabin for our 2 year anniversary, it was perfect! The cabin pictures did not do it justice, what the pictures don’t tell you is how relaxing everything is, you have to see that for yourself! (My husband spent 10 min on the back porch listening to the creek and he was out cold!) It’s amazing on the 1st morning we woke up to 2 small deer, and later that evening we saw an owl (breathtaking to say the least) While on our stay we shopped in Helen ($) and the Highlands ($$$), Took a few hikes down to the Mini-Ha-Ha Falls and Panther Creek Falls both magnificent, spent some time in Clayton, there is a Mexican restaurant behind the big bank that is to die for, best we have ever had! Played a few rounds of golf at Innsbruck and Apple Mountain (great courses) and if its warm out take the time to go tubing in Helen. As far as the overall experience, relaxing, the cabin was spotless, quaint perfect for a small family, in the main house, there is a room over the garage that is great for another small family as will in dual garage. I would say this would be a great place to have a small family reunion. Plenty of recreation space for children, as well as a very large carport space for a full sized motor home. The cabin has newer appliances which was nice as well as a washer and dryer. Overall 5 stars Best cabin rental experience by far! We hope to be able to come back soon!
Owner response:I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We are looking forward to your return.

I absolutely loved time at your cabin. It was very quite and filled with nature. My children totally enjoyed the large outdoor area to play games they can’t play at home. Each and every day there was a different activity from archery, bocce balls, playing in the creek and we even got back to hide n seek, and tag. In the evenings we enjoyed the use of the grill and fire pit for samores while we played board games on the patio. We rented a boat and fished in the nearby lake - what an adventure! We took a short trip to see the local waterfalls and captured some beautiful pictures. We have already set a date on our calendar to return next year. A place as cozy as this is what our family needed from the stress of work and the city. Thank you.
Owner response:I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. It look like the boys really enjoyed the archery and it look like you may have the next Robin Hood. I also enjoyed the beautiful pictures you had sent me. You were great guest and I am looking forward to seeing you on your next trip.
