Spacious deck for relaxing, eating or reading a great book or morning paper-
Location: Tahoma, Lake Tahoe West Shore CA, Lake Tahoe California, California, USA (Tahoma Close to Homewood & Meeks Bay) View Map
Accommodations: Updated 1959 Ole Tahoe Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 1-3)
Welcome to Patsy's Place - it is our second home. It is an adorable updated 1959 cabin that is situated on 3 lots on the West shore in Tahoma, CA. The uniqueness of this space is that it can host a party for 50 or more outside on the grounds, but the cabin itself can accommodate 1 couple or 1 couple and one child. The first thing you will notice when entering this property is the gorgeous setting, it is truly quite lovely and you won't get any closer to Sugar Pine Point State Park as you can see from the pictures it is literally and seamlessly in your front yard.
We have worked very hard to update most all of the appliances, providing a wonderful kitchen and living space. Though this cabin is only 758 sqft. total it is the the vaulted ceilings in the living space that makes it feel very comfortable. The kitchen, dining room and living room host an open plan, leading down the hall to a rather comfortably sized bathroom with shower and soaking tub. The bedroom is the one and only, but it is cozy and if my husband and I can fit easily so can 99% of the populace, as we are both tall people. There is also a full pullout sofa bed in the living room which is perfect for an over night guest or two, it would be perfect for two small children. You will find plenty of storage. Although no need to bring sheets or pillows, we provide all cotton sheets and down pillows, large bath sheets and beach towels. We try to make each and every stay one that we ourselves would want to experience. One of the beautiful features about the cabin is the outdoor space-we have an enormous 3/4 wrap around deck that is close to the ground, we have worked hard to clean up the grounds and continue to work on the garden.
Hopefully by the pictures you can see the charm of Ole Tahoe, but the beauty is that it is updated and provides for a very wonderfully restful stay. This is the place you want to bring your Sweetheart, the place you've hadn't had the time to read that book or better yet write your biography. Patsy's Place is truly about renewing your spirit. You may hear a few children in the neighborhood, but at night it is something rarely ever experienced, total silence.
Enjoy the little town of Tahoma, West Side Pizza, PDQ Market-try their sandwiches, the local video shop, coffee shop....there is a small HOA rocked beach, but Meeks Bay Beach is a few miles south and Chambers Landing is a short skip North. Homewood Ski is very close and Tahoe City is about a 12 minute drive north and Squaw Valley is about 25 minutes NW.
We feel you will think you have found a little jewel in the Tahoe Basin, as we feel we were blessed to be stewards of this beautiful property. Please inquire as to our availability and don't hesitate to ask questions.
We wish you and yours a very wonderful and fulfilling stay at Patsy's Place, Tahoma, CA.

Map & Owner's Profile
Patsy's Place, Sugar Pine Point Park is at Your Feet
Year Purchased: 2008
Why the Owner Chose Tahoma
The West Shore is considered the best shore as its magic comes from the larger snowfall that gives a lush and green landscape. Here is a place for rest and relaxation. The property is very magical-it brings back memories of my childhood where we spent many of our summers in Chamberland at my Uncle Jim's cabin. It is a dream fulfilled!
The Unique Benefits at this Updated 1959 Ole Tahoe Cabin
The property is the last cabin on the block and borders Sugar Pine Point State Park. This wonderful little cabin sits on three lots nearly a 1/2 acre in total. Which makes the property endless as it borders the state park. We love this charming neighborhood and can't wait to get back as we never fail to miss our little cabin in the woods.
Walking path in front of cabin, Cedar Street is closed to car traffic.
Owner's Map of Tahoma
My name is Laura Franceschini. My husband Tim and 2 sons and 3 dogs live on the old family farmstead that dates back to 1846. We grow Organic Pears and Cherries, conventional vineyard and a variety of grow crops. We were looking for an Ole Tahoe cabin on a unique piece of property, though I wrestled with the size of the little cabin we were mesmerized by the grounds and its location. We find that when we need rest from the riggers of farm life and the heat of Sacramento County we long for our beautiful place in the woods. It's quite the magical place!
