I just stayed at this beautiful home for a week and i dont have 1 negative comment! It was incredible. The home is completely decorated and very warm feeling. The kitchen has every appliance (top of the line) and also comes loaded with cooking essentials (olive oil, spices, you name it). The bedrooms are super comfortable (no cheap mattresses or linens) and the bathrooms are perfect. They even provide tons of towels, soaps, tissues, tp, etc... 2 washers, 2 dryers, hot tub, grill, i can go on and on. Don't think twice about this house, you will not be disappointed. Oh, and dealing with the owner could not have been a more pleasant experience. They make sure everything is perfect for you! Thanks again! What a wonderful way to bring in the new year!!! Could not have asked for a more perfect place for the week over New Years for my family (which included 2 babies). It was such a pleasure to work directly with the owner who was a total delight. She was super helpful in making our stay the very best. The house was so nice and cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We have never rented a house that was so fully supplied with baby equipment (so very helpful), dishes, pots and pans, appliances, etc. Ruth Ann suggested a chef who we used for couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed. The location was great for the skiers not to mention the wonderful hotel spa and facilities that we had access to. Can't wait to book a stay in the summer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in the magnificent home for 5 days in early December 2012. We had 3 generations, so having a lot of space was important to us & this house definitely delivered! Ruth Ann (the owner) was SO helpful before & during our stay. She has all the baby gear (crib, pack n play, high chair, gates, stroller), which was very convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped (LeCreuset, etc.) & the game room was stocked with games. The linens were very nice, which was especially appreciated after skiing all day. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is the perfect set-up for attending a Vail wedding. The location is great with access to all amenities at The Cascade Hotel. The views are spectacular. It is heaven to enjoy a mug of coffee in the hot tub in the early morning. If you plan on cooking you will not want for anything in this well stocked kitchen. There are generous amounts of towels and robes to enjoy the spa/hot tub. There are plenty of areas to find your "own space". As my son, the groom. described it...your crib is sick!!! Just needed to explain to the grandparents that is a good thing.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is an ideal family retreat, with loads of space, bedrooms and baths for everyone. The home is very well appointed, including a gourmet kitchen that allows family and friends to gather around while meals are being prepared. All of this set right on Gore Creek, with great mountain vista’s to both the east and west, and easy access to the bike path, Donovan Park and a quick right into Vail Village. It is our ideal summer location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We travelled with our three generation family of 12 to this most wonderful home, located within an easy few minutes walk to/from the lift 20. As we had hired our ski gear from the Cascade resort, complimentry ski concerge meant at the end of the day a few steps to exchange skis and boots for walking shoes. The home is truly lovely and with all the amenities you will need. 5 bedrooms PLUS a bunk room and a seperate lounge means there is room to spread out and relax. TVs everywhere ... really handy when not everyone is absorbed in the playoff week end. The kitchen is what dreams are made off. The owner is obviously in love with cooking, and every conceivable appliance has been provided, to say nothing of the drawers and shelves filled with spices, sauces and other condiments that only passion could provide. Forget the hotels or co-operative run homes that provide the same booring minimalistic inventory of 6 knives, 6 forks and 6 plates. These cupboards are just overflowing. Real wine glasses. And this flows throughout the home. From the throw rugs to snuggle on the lounge, toboggans in the garage, baby cots and fold aways to the basketball court down by the creek (the lure to return in summer .. a little fishing perhaps). I could fill these pages and list all the features detailed elsewhere by others, but the overiding sense is that this is a home filled with the warmth of family love that you are priviledged share for an all but too brief a time.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Just got back from spending five days at this beautiful property. Located directly on Gore Creek, the first thing you notice upon arriving is the wonderful sound of the river flowing outside. Sitting outside on the top deck, drinking a glass of wine and watching the fly fisherman was so relaxing. The house itself was beautiful and easily accomodated three families. There is one room that we dubbed "the playroom" that the kids enjoyed spending time with Legos and watching movies. All three adult couples had their own master bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked. I especially appreciated them stocking both cabernet and chardonnay wine glasses. Walking down the back stairs, you can sit along Gore Creek and try some fly fishing. We caught five trout directly behind the house, with the last one being a very nice rainbow trout at sunset on our last night. Full access to Cascade Resort gym and spa. Highly recommend this property. We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful week we had in Vail at your lovely home! Our extended family has rented a house for a week in July for the last 6 years, and everyone agreed that this year was our favorite. Your home had everything we were looking for (comfortable beds, lovely furnishings, well stocked kitchen, BBQ, deck/view of the river, just to name a few) and a number of added bonuses as well. Also, we were thrilled with the location and access to the Aria Spa and Club, the shuttle to Vail Village & Lion’s Head and the hotel pool. It was wonderful to have the comfort of a home and then the amenities of a top hotel/spa right in our backyard. Finally, thank you for being so easy to work with and responsive to emails both before and during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in your home and hope to be back in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time at your Vail property. Our son's wedding day in early July was perfect- sunny and upper 70's - wedding at nearby Donovan pavillion. We entertained many people for casual rehearsal dinner Friday and then brunch on Sunday. Your house is stocked beautifully and everything was in perfect condition. The kitchen is loaded with everything you could possibly need.Your house fit right in with our Italian theme (honeymoon destination) for dinner on Friday. Comfy beds - our four grandkids loved the bunk room and the "play room" next to it, right off the kitchen. They were close, but still away from the adults to have their own fun and noise! Very convenient for not seeing all the toys, etc. We (my husband and I) spent the majority of the time on the deck enjoying the creek and the beautiful Colorado summer weather. Your house is on one of the prime spots in Vail summer or winter!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I had the good fortune to spend an entire week at this showcase home. The pictures did not do it justice. We were 9 adults and 4 children and had it been our desire we would never have had to cross paths. The home's ample space and large common areas provided the perfect backdrop for our four family vacation. I could not help but send pictures to my Florida friends showcasing the view immediately out our back window of the snowcovered pines and pristine creek. Vail met our every expectation, as well, with over 40" of fresh snow and their infectiously pleasant staff were extraordinary. The home was a short daily walk to the Cascade Village ski lift and we were up and skiing in 10-15 minutes. The home was well equipped with housewares and the beds were phenominal! I can't say enough about how spoiled we were by the owner who offered us every possible courtesy. If you are planning on going to Vail - be sure and see if this home is available before you search any where else. It makes the trip!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We loved this house! It is a 5 min flat walk to the ski slope and we were able to avoid the long lines of the gondola. The house was very large and well maintained. The house has two family rooms so it is great for families. There are lots of amenities with too many tv’s to count. The owner was extremely helpful in answering all of my numerous questions and was very accommodating in meeting all of our needs. The description of the house is accurate and the house is gorgeous. I would highly recommend renting this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My group recently stayed at this Cascade Village vacation home for 1 week end of January to early February, and had a fantastic ski vacation!!! As it states in the listing, the house is loaded with amenities. A few of our favorites include a fully stocked open kitchen, hot tub overlooking the creek, mini-gym room, a deck with an outdoor heat lamp, remote controlled fireplaces and a recently added 2 person sauna. And when we had dinner, the dining room fit 12 people comfortably, which is a luxury that not many places have. The ski conditions at Vail are second to none. The Cascade lift is a 10 min walk, or you can take shuttles or drive to the other Vail bases. Everyone in our group of 12 would highly recommend this house and would stay again. The owner is a joy to deal with. Very responsive and detail oriented. Great job on a wonderful home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family of 9 adults and 6 small children spent our Christmas holiday at this luxury home. We cannot say enough about our time there. The owner had the house all decorated inside and out with beautiful trimmings and a gorgeous tree. The view was absolutely fabulous especially because of all the huge windows. The home sits above Gore Creek which looks more like a river. The sound is intoxicating and it was my favorite part. The master bedroom directly faces it. That bedroom is such a wonderful getaway with beautiful furniture and the most comfortable bed. Outside is the hot tub which was so fun to use especially with the creek in sight. The kitchen was a cook's dream teaming with an abundance of utensils and filled with any kind of spices you could want. It was a lot of fun cooking there. We employed a cook for daily dinners which turned out to be a great idea so everyone could be free from all that planning and shopping for 15 people. The owner was extremely helpful in providing any source of information we needed. She also provided a high chair and gates for the stairs since it is a 3 level home. Those were wonderful lifesavers for our young grandchildren. I cannot say enough about the landlord. She was always available and went overboard to make sure we had the best time in their home. The location of this gorgeous home made it so perfect for us. We did not need to rent a car since it was close to a ski lift and we could also walk to the nearby hotel to pick up a shuttle to go into Vail where there was so much fun activity - stores, coffee shops, ski lifts all decorated for the holidays. Grocery shopping was so easy also since we called a local van who assisted us in loading and unloading our groceries. All the bedrooms were perfect being very private and spacious. The laundry room had two washers and a dryer conveniently located on the bottom level. I was shocked and thrilled to see a wonderful piano in the foyer. That was great fun for playing Christmas carols. Across the street was a large hill for the kids to use the sleds which the owner provided in their garage. We love to talk about our 2010 Vail Christmas vacation and we cannot say enough about this fabulous home and owners who took such an interest in making our time there so memorable. I would love to return in the summer and see how differently everything would look then especially the always visible Gore Creek. it is just beautiful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We could not have chosen a more ideal house for our daughter’s Vail wedding. Our daughter selected the Donovan Pavilion (one of the favorite wedding sites in Vail) for her wedding and the Cascade Hotel as the hotel for the wedding party and guests. This awesome house is directly across Gore Creek from the Cascade Hotel and only a short walk to the Donovan Pavilion so its location was perfect for the wedding. It was able to accommodate five families in comfortable manner and at a cost that was more reasonable than renting five separate condos. It was also large enough and convenient enough to serve as “wedding central” for everyone attending the wedding. It was spacious, well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The two car garage served as the staging area for all the wedding supplies and decorations. The large kitchen was always the scene of constant activity. We held a great bridesmaid luncheon at the house the day before the wedding that was just outstanding with everyone enjoying the view of Vail Valley from the deck. Everyone who came to the house was very impressed with it. Besides serving as “wedding central”, this house provided us with a “home” where our immediate families were able to live together for a week and have a great bonding experience. We had not seen some of our nieces and nephews in over 10 years. By being under one roof, we did not have any problem with communicating and arranging activities and meals and that we would have if we were in condos scattered all around Vail. Regardless of the wedding considerations, the location of the house was ideal for all the other activities Vail has to offer. The bike/walking path that runs from East Vail to West Vail runs right alongside Gore Creek. You could fish in the Gore Greek from the backyard which is designated as Gold Medallion trout fishing stream or you could take off hiking or biking up Vail mountain from the driveway. The Cascade Hotel let us use their sports club facilities and tennis courts so that was another plus. We also thought about what a great location this house would be for a family reunion during the ski season for many of the same reasons it provided such an ideal wedding house. In summary, we feel the amenities and location of this house was a key factor in contributing to the wonderful celebration of our daughter’s wedding and our family reunion!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My family of 9 adults and 3 children stayed at house last week. Everyone agreed that it was more than a "10" It was even more beautiful than we were prepared for. The setting was unique overlooking the Gore Creek and mountains. The kitchen had every imaginable appliance and gadget and fit for a chef. The fishing at Black Lake was wonderful. We came back with fish every morning. The house is large enough so that we did not feel crowded, plenty of room for privacy. The children used the pool across the creek at the hotel and we also had massages and facials at the spa. Some of us took bikes up on the gondola and biked down which was an unforgettable experience. The house was spotless. I would highly recommend this facility and hope to return next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
