When we purchased this unit in mid-2009 we furnished it with all NEW furniture, electronics, appliances, kitchen utensils, etc. Do not settle for something old and worn out, because you owe it to yourself, and your family and friends, to enjoy the best facets of life on your vacation. This gorgeous 2,689 sq ft unit offers four bedrooms, each luxurious enough for those wanting a taste of the good life. First, a master suite with an awe-inspiring view of the luscious Gulf of Mexico that is outfitted with a king bed fit for royalty. The second bedroom is outfitted with another monstrous king sized bed. The third bedroom contains a luxurious queen bed. The fourth bedroom also offers a queen bed fit for sprawling and relaxing. In the living area you can find beautiful furniture including a sleeper sofa, a professionally mirrored wet bar (including an automatic ice maker), and an exhilarating view of the Gulf through a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass stretching from one end of the living room to the other. Step out to the wraparound, tiled balcony for sweeping views up and down the shimmering white sanded beach of the coast, the pools, and the sparkling Lazy River. That is right, a Lazy River directly on the beach and the only one in Orange Beach, Alabama.
The living room is outfitted with a 46 inch flat panel LCD TV; the bedrooms offer crisp 32 inch flat panel LCD TVs. Each TV is connected to a DVD player for when you want to relax in comfort and enjoy your favorite movie.

After an amazing week of the most gorgeous ocean views, a gorgeous and comfortable condo, new friends, and the most delicious seafood, the Bear had a very hard time backing his bags and heading home.
After traveling for many hours, arriving at the Phoenix West Resort was refreshing. The highrise itself is stunning with every possible amenity for the entire family to enjoy. There was indoor and out door pools, a zero entry pool, a baby pool, hot tubs, beach entrances, tennis, work rooms, AND cabana boys. Our condo, which I am convinced was the nicest, was a corner unit with what seemed to be a never ending patio, in fact every room had a their own private patio. The condo was amazing, and was furnished like something out of a magazine.
This is the best family friendly vacation we have ever gone on. Next year the bear convinced us to book it for two weeks instead of one. We highly recommend this condo and its amazing owner who was so welcoming and accommodating to large families, groups, couples, absolutely anyone....you will not be disappointed!!!

8 of my female relatives ranging in age from 37 - 78 had a marvelous reunion week in this beautiful condo. The unit was just gorgeous and very spacious, and the 180 degree view was breath taking. The beach, the lazy river, pools, hot tubs and fitness room were just the icing on the cake! We came from as far as San Francisco, CA and loved exploring the area too. We will definitely be returning to this same condo on the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of four spent a week in this beautiful condo! It's nicely appointed, roomy, tastefully decorated. We couldn't have asked for more! The building has a nice indoor pool with two hot tubs, an outdoor lazy river with a slide and hot tubs as well as a nicely appointed, very roomy fitness center. We really liked the fact that the beach was right there, We wish we could have had warmer weather but we definitely wouldn't have changed a thing about the condo. Highly recommended.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family rented this beautiful condo for Spring Break. It was exactly as it was described and much more! The living space was twice as big as it looked in the pictures! The 180 degree view was absolutely breathtaking,! The pictures online do not do it justice! The overall facilities at the Phoenix West were convenient and very family friendly. I have a 5 year old, 11 month old, and a handicapped mother-in-law and this condo could not have been more convenient and accessible from children to elderly people. We loved our stay and will be renting the same unit again next year! We brought 4 couples for a golfing week and we were more than happy with our stay. The owner was more than accommodating when it came to helping us with golf courses, dining, and entertainment ideas.It was our first time to the area and Tom made it a great experience. We loved this condo! It is large and well decorated. My grandchildren wanted me to rent it for next year. The owners were helpful and available. One of the most enjoyable condos we have ever stayed at. Plenty of room for our family and decorated very nicely. This is a great place for the whole Family. We found it exactly as advertised. We enjoyed being able to be on the lazy river, the pools and workout room, as well as the fun on the beach. We rented this condo for our son's beach wedding weekend. It was excellent for our 3 grown children and their families. The condo is very spacious with a huge balcony which is great for your morning cup of coffee. It had everything we needed. The accommodations were luxurious. We vacation about twice a year on the coast and I can say that is the best condo we have rented thus far. Our grandchildren enjoyed the lazy river and slide as well as our grown children.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My friends (8 girls ages 21-39) and I had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous place from April 12-15, 2012 for my bachelorette party. It was like staying at a rich relative's place while they were away. The pictures really don't do this place justice. It is beautifully decorated and absolutely HUGE! The balcony has superb views of the beach and a wonderful ocean breeze. The Phoenix West is just minutes from everything! It's even a short drive to reach the outlets, Lambert's Cafe, LuLu's, the Flora-Bama, and there is also a Wal-Mart and a Publix really nearby which is extremely convenient. I can't say enough good things about this place. We are all talking about planning another girls' trip next year and we wouldn't hesitate to book this place again! If you are on the fence about booking it, please look no further- this is the place! There were 9 of us girls and we had plenty of room- including bathroom space! We also enjoyed the lazy river! But most of all- we enjoyed the ocean view from the condo and the beach just steps from the pool. Beautiful property. Truly beautiful!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our first stay @ Phoenix West. This condo was gorgeous with a perfect view. The pictures do not do it justice, it had everything we needed. We had 8 adults and did not feel cramped, the unit was very spacious. The balcony was wonderful for relaxing and watching the ocean and spring breakers. One day we saw some dolphins play out in the ocean. The Lazy River was a nice touch that most of us enjoyed. A couple of minor repairs were taken care of the next day by Thomas who was great to work with. All of us really enjoyed our week in paradise and plan to come back whenever we can. Would recomment this unit to everyone.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: I have been vacationing in the Perdido Key, FL/Orange Beach, AL area for over 18 years now. I could tell you stories of condos we have rented that have been nothing like what the pictures shown or description promised. I have spent my fair share of time in horrible units that were not taken care of. Our goal is too offer you a luxurious condo to stay in for an affordable price. You will not find me offering any smoke-infested, dingy units as I want you to have the best vacation possible. I can guarantee you will be in awe of how wonderful any unit I own is as I enjoy spending any chance I can relaxing in them! I live in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where I have lived nearly my whole life and spend my days with my family, flying my airplane and running my businesses.
Why the Owner Chose Phoenix West:
I chose to buy my unit in the Phoenix West building because it is simply the most state-of-the-art condominium complex in the area. It features so many amenities such as the lazy river, waterslide, full-blown workout room, rooftop tennis courts, and much, much more that you cannot find anywhere else in the area, ESPECIALLY on a beach front condominium! This building is the newest complex in the area and will be the premiere complex for years to come!
There is so many other things to do in the area. Most important is the crystal blue beach! You're right on the golden sand, always, and of course the spectacular amenities at Phoenix West are always right there as well! Just a few miles in town are some great restaurants like the Crab Trap and Cosmos. A few miles farther in and you can enjoy shopping and exquisite eating at The Wharf center; not far from there is a Tanger Outlet center that is ridiculously huge! There are so many stores there that it will probably take days to complete for even the most seasoned shop-a-holic!
Whatever you do decide to do during your stay, you will have a blast! My wife and I have been coming down here since we were married and will continue to for the rest of our lives!

Our decorations were not just thrown around by some amateurs; we had a group of professionals decorate our interior and they did a wonderful job!
My assistant who handles this unit is always available and will do anything he can to help you out and ensure that you have the best possible vacation while you are enjoying a luxurious vacation.
