This Luxury Suite sits amongst the energy and nightlife of the city, yet when you retire for the night, it's quiet, relaxing and very tranquil. How can you relax if you can't get a good nights sleep? So, the bedding will pamper you with 600 thread-count sheets and thick Goose Down comforter, while the Goose Down Featherbed will be like sleeping on a cloud for a very comfortable nights sleep. If you have allergies to feathers, your bedding can be switched using Memory Foam instead! The Suite can be setup with either a Queen-Sized bed or to a two single-bed sleeping configuration (just let us know in advance).

You will be situated just steps from the warm sands of Copacabana Beach and only 2 blocks from the famous Copacabana Palace. Celebrities from all over the world stay year round in this classic, period Hotel; walk by, you just may see someone you know (or at least their fans).

A fully-equipped kitchen for anyone who loves to cook or just wants to throw something into the microwave and be done with it. It's all there; imported italian marble countertops, glass cooktop, large stainless microwave, automatic coffee maker/Nespresso espresso machine (your choice), electronic water filtration system, toaster, blender, refrigerator,...wine glasses, beer glasses, even 4-legged trays to have breakfast in bed! Sip Mimosas listening to Bossa Nova music on the Bose Wave stereo system.

For those who want stay in touch with the world, there is a 100+ channel digital cable system with CNN International connected to an adjustable 32" High-Definition LCD TV and, on request, your choice of a high-definition Blu-Ray player(Region 1) or a regionless standard definition DVD player. If you would like to catch up on some work, bring your laptop and use the computer workstation complete with wireless/wired hi-speed internet access and wireless scanning and printing! All the power is 110v using universal 3-prong outlets; there is even a 220v outlet near the workstation if needed.

For the romantic at heart, there are candles throughout and all lighting is on dimmers so you can create thousands of romantic moods...and then swing open the doors of the large window to view the private gardens of the property.

The 3 most difficult things to find in a vacation rental in Rio are good location (close to the beach and action, yet safe); chic, modern decor & silence at night. I hope I've been able to accomplish all 3 for you.

  • The Amazon suite has everything you could possibly want for a perfect stay in Rio. The location is perfect! As the description says, not only are you "steps from the beach", but also steps from the market, shopping, bars/ restaurants, subways, taxis, etc. The interior is incredibly clean, safe and secure, and the owner has gone to great lengths to make the suite very contemporary and comfortable with all the amenities a "gringo" could want while travelling abroad. Best of all, Petra and Jeff are fantastic hosts. Both were INCREDIBLY helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived until we left for the airport to return home. Who needs a concierge?! Considering the location and the amenities included, this has to be one of the best valued suites in the entire city!

  • If you have the opportunity to stay in the Amazon Suite, do it, you won't be dissapointed. Many of the properties listed as "Luxury" in Rio do not live up to expectations. Amazon Suite does. Design and decoration are excellent, as is the location. Petra is the perfect manager. If you need anything she takes care of it. If you don't she doesn't bother you. This place is the real deal.

  • I can only recommend this place warmly. The photos don't lie; everything is in top condition (loved the fluffy towels). I loved going to the beach in the morning and evening after my business meetings. Very good value for money.

  • I have travelled to Rio many times and I have stayed in Hotels and Vacation Rentals. This time I travelled to Rio to be "freshened up" by one of the most famous Plastic Surgery clinics in the world. It was important for me to be able to rest and sleep in peace and I have to say that I did sleep like a baby. The owner was very accomodating and made me feel like I was in a 5-Star Hotel. So many times I would just be "thrown" the keys, but there was a personal orientation by the owner's assistant and the owner was available for questions, not only about the apartment but about new things I didn't even know about Rio and where to go. I have already started plans for my trip back and will again stay here. It was magical.
