Well-constructed with an eye to detail, this mountain cabin is all cedar inside and out, floor to ceiling cathedral windows and an unobstructed view to the mountains, river and park like setting across the river.
A gourmet cook’s delight, so there are more things in the kitchen than not! Make coffee in the morning and sit on the deck and watch the eagles soar, the badgers build their dam and hummingbirds feeding right by your chair. As there are no city lights at night, sit on the deck to watch the moon and the stars shine. And the "big old" moon smiles right down on you!

This is an excellent spot to establish your "base camp" for summer/winter activities, fishing, antique hunting, golfing, local theater, hunting and skiing. Or just to do nothing but watch the river run by!

Float your raft from Blankenship Bridge to your backyard(lazy 3 hours). Fish along the way. Raft float is gentle. Take a short trip to Historic towns of Whitefish (15 miles), Kalispell (18), Airport (15), Big Fork (26). Go to Big Mountain and take the Gandola to the top and see the breathtaking view of the Flathead Valley. Golf in the many good golf courses in the area. Eating and entertainment at your finger tips! Something always happening.

For kids, visit the Amazing Fun Center(15 minutes) or the Big Water Slide in Columbia Falls (15 minutes). Many good hikes and picnic areas in Glacier NatIonal Park.

We are situated 3 miles from the Hungry Horse Reservoir. Great place to swim, boat, waterski or fish.

The Hungry Horse reservoir has pristine water so clear you can see the bottom. You can also have a picnic on one of the small islands in the reservoir and look out at the Great Continental Divide. Bring your boat, free boat launches too. This place is a local secret so don't tell anyone!

Wonderful Home in Convenient Location

My family and I stayed here in August 2010 and had a wonderful time. The home is in a great location, convenient to Glacier Airport, Glacier National Park, and the surrounding area. We visited nearby Mission Mountain Winery in Dayton on a rainy day. The view from the deck is incredible. We saw otters and bald eagles. We stay in many vacation homes and this one is high on the list- very clean and comfortable. We felt like we were home. The owners provided information on what to see and do and were very helpful. We would recommend this home to our friends and would stay here again.

What a beautiful home in such a relaxing and convenient location! The playset in the yard was a welcome sight after 40 hours on Amtrak with 4 children! Thanks to the owner for providing great information on places to go. We enjoyed catching Trout on Flathead Lake, a drive through Glacier on the Going to Sun Road and a gondola ride up Big Mountain in Whitefish. We were very busy and the cabin was such a great "home away from home". Our children wanted to stay another week. Wish we could have. Just sitting on the deck and taking in the views was spectacular. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Great home in a great location

This home on the Flathead River was absolutely wonderful. It is conveniently located near Glacier Nat'l Park and Kalispell so it's a quick drive from the airport. The home is very comfortable and we felt so at home - all the conveniences such as pots & pans, spices, and all the essentials. It has a lovely deck over the riverfront as well with a charcoal grill, table and chairs. Everything was well taken care of and clean and we received prompt response from the owner and the caretakers. I would highly recommend this home.

We checked out early yesterday morning and it took all day getting back home. Our stay was great. The weather was rainy, but we still saw many sights. Your cabin was a bright spot on this trip. It was lovely, and the huge windows overlooking the river made us feel like we were experiencing the outdoors even when we were stuck inside

We had a wonderful vacation loving the area and your house. The timing was great as Logan’s Pass opened the day before we arrived. We truly think a big part of our loving the trip was having a great house with a relaxing and beautiful place to just sit and be and that, of course, was the deck. We had meant to email you as soon as we got home but that was 2 a.m. Friday morning and then our daughter and her family arrived Saturday. It has been non-stop since then. Please know that we plan to return to Glacier at some time in the future and will keep your house in mind if it is still available at the time. Regards, Bill and Julie Marshall

Twice we have stayed in this wonderful, well furnished cabin in Hungry Horse, Montana. The view from the deck to the river and mountains is spectacular. The first year we watched eagles nesting in the trees across the river. It's proximity to Glacier is very handy. One year we picked morels, outside the Park on the road up to Polebridge. The hiking is spectacular... and don't forget your passports so you can explore up into the Waterton Area where the mountain goats and sheep walk freely thru the town. We relaxed, painted, read and explored to our hearts content. You will have a wonderfulstay here. We give it 5 stars!

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago, and it is a pristine location. We saw fish swimming in the river from the deck and deer coming to drink in the evening. It is a vacation lodge, roomy and comfortable with expansive views. We visited nearby Glacier National Park, and loved the little town of Hungry Horse. The hummingbirds were delightful. If you want a true Montana vacation, try this one.
