The unit is the middle unit in the first building closest to the street. I was concerned about street noise, but experienced none in the 10 days we stayed. The air conditioner provides just enough hum to cover any noise. The place is neat, clean and well supplied though dated. The bed is very comfortable. We ate breakfast on the lanai, packed a lunch in the provided cooler and hit the beach or road everyday. At night the BBQ was only few steps from the stairway for delicious meals we prepared ourselves. An evening stroll to the shops in the next block provided selections equal to the rest of the island. The 7' deep pool was crystal clear. We left the place refreshed but not wanting to go home. We grin every time we think of this wonderful place. Thank you

We stayed at KKN in 2008, so we knew the location and grounds were very nice. When we found this unit we were concerned noise would be a problem because it is near the main road. With very few exceptions, this unit was actually quite quiet. For sleeping, the bedroom has a sliding solid accordian panel keeping the room quiet, dark and any remaining background noises covered with the steady hum of the airconditioner and ceiling fan. (In these 2 buildings closest to the road, most units at best have only the fan.) The counters aren't granite, the appliances aren't stainless steel and the cabinets a bit old, but it is clean and very nicely provisioned. The ocean/beach view is very nice. There is enough mountain view from the lanai to easily see if the summit is cloud free and even a peek-a-boo view of Molokini! The biggest problem I had was finding an unsecured wireless connection that was strong enough for my WiFi capable-no data plan cellphone to get the online Molokini tour discount! (Starbucks is a short drive away.) A tip we learned this trip on snorkeling...a drop of dish soap/shampoo and about a table spoon of tap water rubbed around the inside of the glass with a finger, drained and air dried each night will keep your mask clean and fog free...unless you wash it away with too many sea water rinsings. Now is a great time to visit Maui. With free airmiles from a credit card, round trip Hawaiian Air tickets for the two of us totaled under $400 and a full size rental car with all taxes for 10 days was $171...if you include the $20 bill somebody left us under the front seat (Alamo via carrentalsavers.com)! With gas at $4.85/gal, we did spend another $140 driving to snorkeling spots, around west Maui and to Hana. With take out sushi from Foodmart & beach chairs from the condo, we had several fabulous water front sunset dinners on hidden beaches we had all to ourselves, for about $20 per night! Maui can easily be expensive, but it is certainly not a requirement for a fabulous vacation. I only hope this unit is available for our next stay on Maui. Add a WiFi router & I give it 6 stars. We are really enjoying your condo. What a lovely place. I am wondering if there is any chance we could book it for Wed and Thurs night as well? We are going to Hana just Tues night but like this place so much we would like to come back for the last two night if its not booked. Please let me know.

We were very, very happy with your condo in Hawaii. We had a great time to say the least. We could not have felt more at home. The view, the loction was fantastic. We didn't rent a car and had no problem catching a bus from the airport to the Kamaole Shopping Center next to the complex. We snorkeled at the beaches across the street and booked a SCUBA dive also. The weather was great and we enjoyed the trade winds every afternoon. We found no need for the air conditioner as the cross ventilation and ceiling fans were very comfortable. It was a very relaxing stay and I hope we have the opportunity to book a stay with you in the future.
