Pristine house located on a wooded cul de sac in a gated community just minutes from the Shanty Creek Hotel, restaurants and pools. The main floor of the house has an open floor plan which contains a cozy and comfortable living area with a wood burning fireplace, a dining area with a large table, a fully-equipped kitchen and a master bedroom (with a king sized bed), master bath and laundry facilities.
The upper level which looks down on the living area has a full bath and two bedrooms - one with a queen sized bed and the other with two full size beds. It is fully equipped with all the necessities to make this your home away from home. There are large windows surrounding the living area with a sliding glass door which opens onto a wrap around wooden deck, as well, there is a hammock to lie in and a fire pit for making s'mores.
Enjoy all the resort amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, tennis, skiing, spa and fitness center. There are four golf courses in the resort: The legend, Cedar River, Schuss Mountain and the Summit and two others, The Chief and Hawk's Eye, are within a half mile.
We are part of an association which owns a private beach club 1.5 miles away on Lake Bellaire for swimming, picnicking, shuffleboard, basketball, fishing, etc. Lake Bellaire is connected to the Chain of Lakes - a fun outing involves renting a pontoon boat the marina in Bellaire and spending the day on Torch Lake.

Why the Owner Chose Bellaire
There is so much to do in this resort. We love golf and have had wonderful vacations with family and friends up here playing golf, playing games, going boating, etc. Having a membership to the Beach Club is great as well. We have used the facilities many, many times and our family members love it. We are also skiers and have enjoyed the skiing and tubing facilities as well.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It is totally relaxing and peaceful - you are really away and yet there is so much you can do if you choose. There are great restaurants in Bellaire and both restaurants and shopping in Alden on Torch Lake, as well as, in Charlevoix, Petosky and Traverse City.
Renting our home provides access to the Summit Village Beach Club on lake Bellaire. The club has a beach with a swimming area, shuffleboard, basketball hoops, volley ball, grills and picnic facilitie
The town of Bellaire has a movie theater, video rental store, and a number of great places to eat - LuLu's Restaurant is wonderful and the burgers at the Bellaire Bar are hard to beat.
Right outside the resort on M88 you will find Glens Market and just next door - Papa K's Pizza and indoor Putt Putt Golf. Papa K's pizza is terrific.
This cute little town on the bottom of Lorch Lake is a must see for any woman who likes to shop. It also has a pier with great views of breathtaking Torch Lake

My husband Frank and I both grew up in Michigan and have vacationed in a number of resort areas in northern Michigan over the years. We especially like Shanty Creek with all the amenities available year round. The Beach Club on Lake Bellaire is a great feature that we have thoroughly enjoyed. We have so many great memories of special vacations up here with our family - 6 children and 9 grand children.
