From the time you enter the colorful downstairs area until you make your way to the third floor loft you will not want to leave this lovely South Walton Beach home in Seacrest. It is the perfect place for couples, families or a girlfriends’ getaway. The first floor features a living room and kitchen in an open area that encourages gathering. A bathroom and downstairs bedroom are conveniently located for easy access. The second floor includes three bedrooms, one with twin beds, another with a queen, and the third a soothing master bedroom with king bed and a private bath. Step out onto the master deck to greet the morning and your neighbors. The final dip into a colorful pallet of color can be found in the third floor loft with an adjoining bath. The loft is a perfect location for family games, children’s entertainment and sleeping area where the two upholstered oversized chairs may be converted into twin beds at night.
The home offers many amenities including television sets with remotes in each bedroom, DVD players on the first and third floors, wireless high speed internet, board games, and books for taking to the steps-away 12,000 square foot pool or for a leisurely sit on the white sands of nearby Gulf of Mexico Beach—a short walk or ride by tram available on a schedule or by request to suit your schedule.
This home is centrally located in family friendly Seacrest Beach situated between Rosemary and Alys Beach, close to restaurants, golf courses, unique gift shops, and only a few miles from world renowned Seaside and Watercolor villages. A day of shopping can be enjoyed in the small boutiques of the nearby villages or at the new Pier Park at Panama City Beach where you will find major department stores, a sixteen theater cinema, a wide variety of restaurants, and national brands including Border’s Books, Margaritaville, Chico’s, Dillards, JC Penny and Target—all within 15 minutes drive from Seacrest. We spent a great week at Happy House this past June, 2012. Charla, the owner, was extremely responsive, courteous and friendly before, during and after our stay. The house is a two minute walk from the amazing outdoor pool at Seacrest! Very convenient. The shuttle service is perfect and extremely helpful since they pick you up at your door and drop you off either at the pool or at the steps leading to the beach. The house was immaculate. Very open, bright and inviting. No bugs, filthy linens, spider webs and bad smells. The owners really do a great job at making sure that your stay is a pleasant one. Thanks also to the cleaning crew who do all the behind the scenes work to have the house ready for arriving guests. Lots of room to spread, four full bathrooms (So nice to have with a big group!), lots of sleeping spaces and a great loft upstairs with two pull out twin beds. Kids will love this top floor room! Very comfortable and useful. TVs everywhere, WiFi throughout the house. There is a storage shed outside with at least 5 body boards, two great beach chairs and some toys. A very nice touch! Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans, a high end coffee maker that can either grind whole beans or use ground coffee, microwave, great stove and big refrigerator. Washer and dryer are in the kitchen. Outdoor shower at the back of the house for when you come back from the beach, Very practical! We will definitely stay at Happy House again in the future and will recommend it to all of our friends and family. We stay at Seacrest every year and this has been by far the most beautiful, clean, convenient, practical, spacious and reasonably priced home we have ever stayed in. You will enjoy your visit!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

A booking deposit of 1/2 the weekly rate is due at time of booking. The remaing rental fee, damage deposit, taxes and cleaning fee due 14 days prior to arrival. If booked fewer than 14 days prior to check-in all fees and rental charges are due at time of booking.

12% State and County taxes; $200 cleaning fee. A refundable damage deposit of $500 is required.

About the owner: I grew up in Walton county when South Walton was a sleepy little village. Although many amenities have been added it is still beautiful, serene location to rest, relax, and to make and share memories. I feel privileged to be a part of a jewel in South Walton County and to be able to share it.
