Portside Resort is located at the west end of Panama City across from the beach near the new Pier Park. Most visitors are attracted to this complex by the pools - 2 in the front entrance (1 with a waterfall), and one heated in the center of the complex. Portside also features a large hot tub, 2 tennis courts and shuffleboard. This unit is J-4 and it is located in the center of the complex next to the pool. There are 2 bedrooms and one bath upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private sink/vanity and also an outside deck. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. Downstairs is the kitchen and living room combo. There is a half bath and washer/dryer area downstairs also. The living area has a patio with gas grill and privacy.
The beach is a short walk from the unit, or you can park at the entrance on the road for convenience. All pool areas have large decks, bathrooms and drink machines. This complex is great for families and those who prefer it quiet, yet is close to all the restaurants, activities and nightlife. The new international airport is just 7 miles from the property. Renters must be 25 years of age or older to rent unit

Great rates for our 3night stay! Was definitely a home away from home. We could wash, dry, cook, chill, relax all in this condo! Televisions should be updated. Patio/balcony furniture should be updated too. Owner extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

I stayed here along with my 2 year old daughter, sister and her husband. We loved this condo. It was like a home away from home. We were right next to one of the two pools on this resort. The walk across the street to the beach was not bad at all. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We definitely made use of the grill on the patio! We hope to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our stay at this property was very disapointing. When we first arrived and walked into the condo it was 90 degrees. We had to call owner and she sent cleaning lady to take care of. It did not cool off until the next day. Needless to say we had a miserable night. It rained 2 or 3 days while we were there and the drains in the parking area right outside of our door did not drain properly and we had to walk in ankle deep water to get to our automobiles, there was no other spaces available. We reported this to the office at Portside, but nothing was ever done. The Housekeeping staff leaves a lot to be desired. When we opened the fridge there was ketchup smeared all over the door. There was dirty dishes in the cabinets. Outside light on patio was not working,we can only assume that the bulb was blown. You could not get the cover off without having a screwdriver, and that we didn't have. Dryer in laundry area only heated on one cycle. TV in one bedroom did not work because it was not hooked up to cable, it only had rabbit ears, we could not pick up anything on it. Also Shower in full bath needs to be repaired, along with ceiling fan in master bedroom.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
