    • Very lovely old world apartment with a beautiful view of Central Park. Neat, clean, comfortable beds (including the cots supplied by the hotel at an extra charge). Housekeeping every day. Plenty of space - especially if you have been to New York - very close to great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping etc. Tim was always available on his cell phone and we were greeted by his brother James. Would definitely recommend this apartment again.

    • Fantastic price, 5th ave spacious and safe. We took our 2 children to enjoy Broadway, Central Park, and the museums. Just look out your windows to see the Plaza hotel and lots of beautiful classic architecture of New York. From the doorman to the owner, Tim, you'll love the friendly, impeccable service. We walked where we wanted to go, everything is so safe and close by. We loved our stay. Will return again!

    • My brothers and I took our Mom to New York for a birthday bash. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The location was convenient; the lodgings luxurious; Tim, the apartment owner, couldn't have been more accommodating; and the price was much more reasonable than any of the hotels in the area. I highly recommend staying here.

    • My brothers and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for four days as a birthday celebration for Mom. We all were dazzled by the beautiful and spacious apartment, incredible location with a Central Park view, and Tim's warm welcome and eagerness to help. It was great to be in our own apartment--and have maid and turndown service for a price that no one in the area could have matched. Thanks.

    • Do not underestimate the quality of this apartment. The location is first class, and for New York that is saying something. You have views to the iconic Plaza Hotel, Central Park, Fifth Avenue and the Apple Store. Each morning you can watch the hundred people line up for the CBS morning show, and whatever daily machinations this New York focal point puts on display. The apartment is huge, and will surpass anything you would be expecting. Cable TV, King size (comfortable bed), internet, large functional bathroom and acres of cupboard space. Not advertised and not expected was the full room service, which keeps the apartment in a top clean organized and fresh state. You would come back in the evening to find that even your bed had been turned down. To enjoy the views and not the noise, the windows have two double glazed panes of glass. Open the windows and you find yourself in the middle of the vibrancy of this city. Your choice. You will find the owner Tim receptive, flexible and willing to assist you in enjoying your trip. He directed us to a little known, but great restaurant and a useful website for travel (hopstop), among other things. If this apartment is in your price range, you will without question find nothing that comes close in value. I think you can tell we liked this place and when we come back we are hoping that it will be available.

    Chris ,
    • First time to visit NYC and was blown away by this apartment. Very large with great appointments and attention to detail. Booking and renting was a breeze. My friends have told me that I'm now spoiled for other apartments in NYC. That's okay though, because I don't intend to stay anywhere else!

    • I'm not sure where to begin...I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was in this apartment. First, Tim was awesome. He responded quickly to all of my questions and was more than willing to suggest things to do for my first trip to NYC. He greeted us upon arrival and provided a detailed tour of the apartment. He was very sweet and even left us some magazines and books on sightseeing in NYC. He was even in contact with us during our stay (via email) to make sure we were happy and having a good time. Now, let's talk about the apartment. It is huge and so, so nice. Comfortable beds, great living space and huge bathroom. The light fixtures, fireplace and high ceilings send you back to a more glamorous time. The views are amazing!!!! We spent a lot of time just people watching from the big windows. The Plaza Hotel is out one window, Central Park out another and the CBS Plaza (check out the CBS Early Show) out the other. Not only that, but it's a great neighborhood with plenty of dining and lots to do. Also, with all that is going on outside, it was very quiet. As far as the Sherry-Netherland Building....again, amazing. The staff was so wonderful and the daily housekeeping was fabulous. It is a beautiful historic building with lots of character. While there we even visited the Garren Salon...which I also highly recommend. We are going back in October and we hope to stay here again!

    • This was our first real visit to New York, and my husband and I were blown away by the incredible apartment at the Sherry-Netherland. Our jaws were dropping before we ever even got upstairs. A real doorman! A palatial lobby! A white-gloved elevator attendant! And once we stepped into the apartment, we couldn't stop congratulating each other. It's on a corner of the building so it has tons of light and views, of Fifth Avenue and Central Park. The rooms are so large, elegant, and very nicely furnished. The marble bathroom is to die for ... you have to take a bath in that huge, deep tub to appreciate it. It has a little kitchen with a microwave and mini- fridge, so you can chill a bottle of wine or heat up something from the deli. There was maid service every day and turndown service every evening, and everyone was so nice. We had a wonderful time, the perfect decadent New York vacation. We just can't speak highly enough of our experience and wholeheartedly recommend this rental.

    • Fabulous Luxury Apartment on Fifth Avenue. What could I said about this apartment? Espectacular views from every room, perfect location, historical building, perfectly decorated, gorgeously detailed, right in the southeast corner of Central Park. We stayed there for a weekend and even when it was our second time in New York City, we did not want to leave the apartment. We were very excited to go and see the city but the comfort and elegance of the place was keeping us from doing it. I personally think this apartment is unique and made to impress: Imagine staying in a presidential suite in the heart of New York City. I also believe that finding something like this at this price would be practically impossible. Since the very first moment we arrived, we felt that this weekend was an unforgetable one. Tim met us at the apartment and gave us his cell phone number to call him if we needed anything. The place was spotless, very clean. The doorman, with white gloves, call the elevator for us. It's definitively something you won't find in the most of the luxury hotels in the world. Imagine a 1 bedroom apartment with 1300 sqf. Madoff Suite was 2500 sqf and only a few blocks away and valued at 8 m. Again, if you want to have a high quality vacation time in New York City, Timothy Wabha's apartment is the real solution. Regards, Rodriguez Family

    • I rent apartments in New York every year and I've never seen anything like the apartment I rented from Timothy Wahba in the Sherry-Netherland building. This is a truly iconic Manhattan luxury apartment. The living room alone is two to three times as large as most New York studios, with views of Central Park and the Plaza Hotel, both of which are directly across the street. The bedroom, with its own seating and dressing areas, is also surprisingly spacious and simply gorgeous. An elegant marble bathroom, modern kitchen, and more closet space than I have at home make this place fully functional for a stay of any length. Timothy was great to work with--he was very prompt in responding to my emails and able to work around my schedule. Renting from someone on the Internet requires a certain amount of trust and honesty, and I can completely vouch for Timothy in this regard. This is his family's apartment and he goes to a real effort to make it comfortable for visitors. He was always very easy to reach, gave me a very detailed tour of the apartment, introduced me to the housekeeping staff, and took care of all the details. Oh, did I mention the housekeeping staff? Although this is a privately-owned apartment, it receives the same services as the hotel rooms in the building, including daily housekeeping services, doorman, reception desk, and other amenities like free wi-fi. However, finding a hotel room of this size and in this location at a comparable price would be absolutely impossible. I've never dared to try to rent a luxury hotel suite with a view of the park, but it would have to cost several times as much as this rental. This is not only an extraordinary value, it also offers a glimpse into Fifth Avenue luxury living that most people never get to see. Also, this is a very easy apartment for two couples to share. Normally I'm reluctant to choose an apartment that requires one couple to sleep on the fold-out couch in the living room, but this place is so large and well laid out that each couple would have plenty of privacy and the ability to get up and out without disturbing the other. It would be great for families, too. One other thing: I had no idea there was such a thing as a quiet apartment in New York. Usually it's a real adjustment to get used to the sound of garbage trucks, sirens, people out on the sidewalks, etc. (not to mention neighbors above & next door) But this apartment, even though it's only a couple floors above street level, is utterly silent, so everyone gets a good night's sleep. I cannot recommend this apartment and Tim strongly enough. I'm afraid I've been terribly spoiled; I can't imagine going back to dark, cramped apartments now that I've stayed here. I will definitely be back.
