We have, without doubt, one of the best views of the Yampa and it is lovely to sit out on the balcony and drink coffee while enjoying the scenery & fresh mountain air. We are a 5 minute walk to the gondola, there is a free, on-call shuttle during ski season.
Very comfortably sleep 6; upstairs has a king size bed, unsuite bathroom and a sauna, downstairs there are two more bedrooms, one king bed that can be split into two beds, the other room has a full size bed and a twin bed. No sleeper sofa but there are air mattresses and pump in unit. Each room has it's own bathroom.
We provide coffee and have a french press and also drip. There are herbs and spices in the small cupboard above the sink and also cooking oil (while supplies last). We provide soaps, shampoos and body lotions in all bathrooms.
The previous owner was a general contractor and he installed all the mexican tile, copper counter tops and cabinetry. It is very tastefully decorated.
We have plenty of board games and DVD's to keep you enteretained. Also, should you be travelling with small childen there is a high chair, booster, pack and play and plenty of toys.
The complex offers 2 outdoor hot tubs with views of the valley. The master bathroom suite includes a sauna that is very relaxing after a hard day skiing or hiking.
There are free busses running into Steamboat Springs town center which is minutes away. There are a lot of restaurants, bars and entertainment on the mountain. We would be more than happy to recommend.
Should you require some light shopping ahead of time we can put you in touch with a local concierge service so that grocieries are at the condo when you arrive. Additionally they can also arrange tours for you ahead of time so that you can make the most of your trip.

Very comfortable condo. Easy to use shuttle and great skiing. Hope we can stay here again. Stayed here for 9 nights with family of 5. Plenty of room and kitchen well stocked. Probably could have skipped the rental car and just used the shuttle for trips to town and shops.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

It was a unique property with a lot of room. We liked the woodwork and loved the master bath (which has a large sauna). In snow season when you enter the condo and have a separate area to put your ski stuff will be great. It has a fantastic view! The common area hot tubs (2) have a great view. We would recommend!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo we stayed in for 5 days in Steamboat Springs was really nice and the owner was very accomodating when contacted with questions or concerns. It was perfect for our needs and one of the biggest selling points was each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view was amazing and we were treated to seeing hang gliders and hot air balloons from the balcony during our stay. I would recommend this property to friends/family and would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Nick and Ali, you have a great condo. We enjoyed our stay over the President's Day Weekend 2010, along with the 12 new inches of Champagne Powder! We were very comfortable and your location is so convenient. Also loved the town, the hot springs and of course the mountain. The shuttle service was very prompt. Everyone in Steamboat was helpful and friendly. Even our friends from Boulder noted that the Steamboat locals are much more accomodating than the people of Summit County. We have stayed at this condo in the fall and again in the winter. The views from it are amazing and you are definitely in a little piece of heaven. This "cozy cabin" condo is wonderful for a nice getaway for small or large groups. Our family stayed in the condo and enjoyed the spectacular views off of the balcony while enjoying the gorgeous interior (new carpet, hardwood floors.) Located directly on the slopes, it is a convenient location for skiers/boarders and those interested in epxloring Steamboat by foot. (We recommend eating at Freshies, and hiking to Fish Creek Falls!) About the owner: We are a happy family of four, Nick and Ali and our two lovely girls, Ava and Gracie.
Why the Owner Chose Yampa View:
We love the outdoors and were taken by the beautiful view from our condo. Steamboat Springs is a wonderful place for couples and families. We always tell our friends that Steamboat is a real American town with a ski resort, not a resort town. Summers are hot in the day with cool nights. Winters are bright and sunny with loads of light powdery snow. It is great here.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Once we get to the condo we rarely use our car. Our kids love to ride the shuttle bus or the local bus into town (about 10 min) or to the grocery. Most of all we love to have our coffee on the balcony in the mornings and smelling the fresh mountain air. Most weekends we can watch hot air balloons lift-off from below. From our balcony you can see the entire Yampa Valley, the Yampa River, the downtown Steamboat, and the Sleeping Giant (it is a mountain that looks like a sleeping giant).
