  I could literally sit on the enclosed porch and look at the lake forever. Kids had a blast swimming off the dock and just an awesome overall family home and extremely comfortable. Boat ramp was 100 yards from the house and during the weekdays we felt like we had the entire extremely calm lake all to ourselves. Will definitely be back maybe in the fall. Would enjoy coming in the fall, watching football games building a fire in the fireplace and taking cat naps

  OUR STAY THIS YEAR WAS AGAIN A GREAT TIME. THIS YEAR WAS A LOT DIFFERENT AS FAR AS THE WATER LEVEL WENT. LAST YEAR LAKE WAS15 FOOT OVER SUMMER POOL AND THIS YEAR IT WAS 4 FOOT BELOW SUMMER POOL. THIS HOME IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY WHEN VACATIONING ON KY. LAKE.

  this home has the nicest view of any home on the lake. completely new kitchen. tv. hardwood floors. bathroom. even the sofa is new... great winter respite...if you are going in for a Murray State Basketball game, you will hate yourself if you dont stay here. only about 10 minutes from murray and so so peaceful.

  We had a great trip to Kentucky Lake and loved this house! We had several kids and they were constantly happy and entertained with the lake and the house. The view from the porch was beautiful and the lake was nice and quiet. The owner was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Since we live in Georgia and my in laws live in Wisconsin is was a great place to meet in the middle. The house was very clean and we loved every minute of our stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Beautiful home- great setting- had a bald eagle fly right through the yard ! Was happy it was such a spacious place- since we were victims of the unending rain for most of the time. We still managed to get in a couple short & wet sails though. Might have to try it again in the summer or fall.

  THIS PLACE IS JUST AWESOME . THE WEATHER WAS STORMY AND A LOT OF RAIN BUT WE STILL HAD A GREAT STAY . WE FELT VERY MUCH AT HOME . I WOULD RECOMEND THIS HOME TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE. WE WILL DEFINITLY BE BACK.

  Owner response: Unbelievable amount of rain the week you stayed. If nothing else you were able to witness history of the lake rising. Wish I could have done something about the weather but the way you left the house after you left concerning the cleanliness I'll remember and give you a deal on your next visit concerning the terrible weather conditions which was beyond my control. Hopefully this was a one time 100 year event that won't happen again in our lifetime. Thanks so much for the respectful manner you left our home on your departure.

  Love the renovations since our stay last year. During the week we felt like we had the lake to ourself. The water is pristine and calm. Loved waking up and drinking coffee on the porch and watching the geese. We plan to make this an annual get away vacation reservation. You need to update your pictures. Hardwood floors are beautiful. Probably my top 3 stays concerning view of ky lake especially with the gentle slope to boat dock. Fishing was excellent

  our family went down for fall break 2010. we have stayed in other places on the lakes before, most of them have a partial view, or some decent views. this home has an expansive 200 degree view of the lake. The lake in blood river was calm and pristine. The home is comfortable and modern, and the owners bent over backwards for us, great to rent from. We will most definately be back, this was the most relaxing trip we have had in some time, the water is deep, perfect for skiing, tubing, swimming, and fishing. what an amazing property

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a relaxing atmosphe. The view of the lake from your home is one of the best we've ever stayed and the calm water in this cove was excellent for swimming and skiing. We made one trip to the grocery store and never left the house. I could just sit on the screened porch and read books forever with no worry about my kids playing in the lake when I could literally be able to watch them every minute on the dock without getting off the porch.

It is so rewarding to have guests take care of our house and leave it in the manner it was found upon your departure. This makes it more comforting to make sure everything you need is available when you arrive.
