Beautiful Kennebec Lake, 15 minutes NW of Sharbot Lake, Ont, 1.5 hrs from Ottawa, 50 mins from Kingston. 3 Bedrooms, Bdrm 1: Dbl Bdrm 2: 2 bunks (sleeps 5) Bdrm 3: Twin + trundle bed. Well water; no need to bring drinking water; Comfortable living room, large eat in kitchen, 2 sunrooms, balcony/deck, large dock with ladder, full kitchen, microwave, stove, 2 refrigerators, ceiling fans. Clean waterfront for good swimming; gradual incline beside dock; deep off the end of the dock. Southern exposure. Flat area behind cottage for games etc.

Easy access to Hwy. 7 and Sharbot Lake area, groceries, medical center, etc. Kennebec is a great lake for swimming, fishing and boating. Cottage well situated away from quiet road for safety. Sit back and relax in a Muskoka chair in the deck or dock; lots of family games available; play cards in the sun room. A great place to relax and enjoy summer.

  • We were most impressed with the rental of this cottage. The owner is pleasant and prompt in replying to correspondence. The cottage is lovely, spacious, airy, well decorated and the kitchen well stocked with all the dishes and utensils you could need. They also have a great selection of games and movies; perfect for the evening or a rainy day. The dock on the lake is lovely as is the deck over looking the lake. The lake is deep at the end of the dock for older kids and adults and from the shoreline younger children can wade. Great lake for canoeing and fishing. The back yard is excellent for soccer or bandminton. My husband enjoyed long hikes on the country roads. The fire pit is great for roasting wieners and making smores. We enjoyed lying on the dock star gazing as well. All round we highly recommend this cottage.
