The master bedroom has a private balcony with views of the harbor, luxurious bath featuring an oversized tub and his/hers sink. Each of the other three bedrooms have their own bathroom. Harbor and city light views from outside patio areas. This home truly represents classic design with modern convenience!

We are located just one block from the ferry, which takes you to the Balboa Fun Zone, complete with Ferris wheel, boat rentals, and guided boat tours of the beautiful homes of the rich and famous in Newport Harbor, or you can catch the Catalina Flyer to Catalina Island. The small, sandy beaches of Balboa Island are just steps from the front door.
Balboa Island is just off the coast of Newport Beach and is a short drive away from many Southern California attractions, including Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Hollywood, San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, and much, much more. Only 15 minutes away from the Santa Ana/Orange County “John Wayne” airport, and 50 minutes south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Owner Held the Deposit for 5 Months

We stayed at this house two years in a row. The house is nice and spacious but the owner is very unethical. The owner required a large security deposit. After numerous calls and emails I finally got my security deposit back five months later (contract requires return in 7 days). When I finally got the deposit check she deducted nearly half for carpet cleaning claiming that our dog urinated on the carpet. The detailed bill from the cleaning company shows carpet cleaning for the whole house. Our dog never left the first floor which is a very small part of the carpeted area of the house. On top of that the carpet was dirty when we moved in. She apologized that she had some problems with the prior renter and that is why is wasn't completely clean. To make matters worse, the WIFI in the house was not working so I helped her replace the WIFI out of my own pocket for $200 which she said whe was going to reimburse. She did not reimburse originally but she later did after I complained. Nice place, but be carefuly about your deposit and cleaning costs. It might be a good idea to have her inspect when you leave.

Three senior couples rented this home for seven days and we had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for everyone and so close to everything. The home is decorated beautifully and with everything available for our stay. The neighbors are delightful. Thank you Jean and Ashley for sharing your treasure.

This was a lovely home which set up perfectly as a vacation getaway. While it is on BI, it is on a quieter part of the Island which was preferable for our needs. Quiet, yet easy to walk to the main street, or across the bay to the peninsula. I would recommend this property without reservation. The owners were very professional and helpful.
