As you enter the great room of the 6000 Square ft full log cabin, you will be greeted by TWO VERY LARGE BEARS. The rest of YOUR story is yours to discover and tell. The Lodge is divided into TWO PRIVATE UNITS with separate entrances and parking; each with 2500 sq. feet; each sleeping up to 12 comfortably. The sunroom and screened back porch (for your BACKPORCH camping experience);firepit area, hot tub patio and basketball court is shared. Each has their own private balcony and can sleep at least 10 people.(Cabin 1: 4 BR plus loft BR;2 queen couches 2 full baths one with Jacuzzi,LG Balcony off of Master BR)

BEAR TRACK LODGE is nestled between the morning side of the FAMOUS LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN and the WILD SIDE of PIGEON MOUNTAIN STATE WILDLIFE PARK: just 20 minutes south of Chattanooga, (named a family centered national model city); a 90 minute escape North of Atlanta and a 20 minute drive up the mountain into historic Mentone, AL; and 20 minutes south of the HISTORIC CHICKAMAUGA CIVIL BATTLEFIELD. The Lodge is divided into two rentals or can be opened up for large family re-unions and gatherings and retreats; sleeping 10 people as one or up to 18-20 people. Create photos of the kids in western attire on a pony and CAMP out on the PORCH around a crackling fire in the fire pit, enjoying s'mores under the only nightlights: twinkling stars and fireflies mingling at the horizon. We are a family with 6 children ages 9-24 that love the natural beauty and adventure we discovered when we were introduced to "the best kept secret of the North Georgia Mountains"... McLemore's Cove: which is nestled in the shadows of Pigeon Mountain and Lookout Mountain Wildlife Reserve.
Thomas train village, bats and balls and other things that kids enjoy are available for your use on the property. Please bring water shoes for the creek as it has a rock bottom. (with arrowheads to discover!)
