Welcome to our "BIT O' Paradise" here on the island! Our carefree, colorful, beautifully appointed villa is located on the GROUND floor looking directly to our sparkling pool.(That means NO stairs to climb! and NO tennis court noise!) Location is prime. We have just completed a total renovation! All the conveniences you expect await and more. BRAND NEW KING and QUEEN plush mattress,wireless internet,IPOD speaker/player, Beach Cart, tennis racquets...even Beach Bikes with locks! It is all here for you to enjoy.
Forest Beach is an off plantation community located between Sea Pines and Shipyard which offers two beautiful beaches with a distinctly different feel. North Forest Beach is more residential while South Forest Beach is mostly villa's and inns, and the two are divided by shops, restaurants, and theaters of the popular Coligny Plaza. It is near the back gate of Harbor Town. The grocery and beach and shops are all within walking distance. This is a prime location on Hilton Head Island.
Hilton Head Island is roughly 42 square miles. That's approximately 30,000 acres of which 28,000 are dry land and 2,000 acres are marsh lands. The island is 12 miles long and 7 miles wide at its widest point with an average width of 5 miles. Due to the Gulf Stream pushing its warm waters into our area, our spring and fall seasons are extended.
Hilton Head Island offers bike trails just about anywhere you want to go. We have over 260 tennis courts, 24 golf courses and another 15 within a 10 mile radius. The island offers 6 public and 3 private marinas, along with over 135 restaurants and more shops than I can count.
A short stroll and you are on one of the most beautifully flat beaches in the world. Our resident's beach is right at end of our street. No need for public beach access as in other South Forest Beach locations. We are closer than Ocean Breeze or some Seascape to the beach, and so much nicer...a different class altogether in a beach rental. We are also much closer to Coligny and the NEW play fountain and beach park.
Love tennis? Walk 200 feet and you are at world renowned Van Der Meer Tennis center. New to the sport? Try our racquets out on the free Town courts just a stroll away.The Players gym (100 yds from our villa)offers weekly memberships too for the whole villa at a rate of 40 dollars with coupon from us.The indoor pool and hot tub there offer a wonderful way to relax before or after your workout,and adjoins the Tennis center. Our location offers all the amenities you want.Some of our guests never use their car the whole week! Bicycle rentals with pick up and delivery are available and a great way to get around, if you need more than our 2 bikes.
When you are ready for the evening meal, Our kitchen does not disappoint; as it is outfitted nicely and has everything you need to cook in. But Hey, you are on vacation so just take a stroll to dine out at Coligny plaza after watching the sunset at the TIKI Hut at the Holiday Inn.
We love our dogs...so don't leave the pooch...bring her along as we are pet friendly only ONE dog allowed...call or e mail for full pet policy.

- Pet Friendly : $15 pet fee per day. We require proof of flea/tick treatment and up to date rabies/ bordatella vaccinations. Beach Policy for Animal Regulations: April 1 - May 30 - Animals must be on a leash between 10 AM and 5 PM. May 30 until Monday of Labor Day weekend - NO animals allowed on the beach between 10 AM - 5 PM. Tuesday after Labor Day - September 30 - Animals must be on a leash from 10 AM - 5 PM. October 1 - April 1 - No leashes required at any time, however, your dog IS required to be under positive voice control. On the beach or not, local law requires owners to clean up after their pets.

We love Forest Beach for the location! We live on North Forest Beach ourselves, and enjoy the central yet private feeling of this area of the island...so close to everything but not congested ...we usually park our car and walk or bike to everything! Safe, shaded bike paths, convenient to all that Coligny Plaza and Beach Park offer; yet worlds away from all the crowds!

We rented the condo for a few days before Thanksgiving 2011. The condo was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and we felt lived up to it's billing. We appreciated having bikes to use and the condo was right off the public bike path and was a short walk to the beach.....great and quiet location! We would definitely go back.

We recently returned from our first visit to Hilton Head, and we can't say enough about "Bit 'O Paradise". The location is absolutely perfect and central to shops, restaurants and the beach. The villa was extremely clean, the beds were to die for, and it was furnished with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved the beach chairs, beach cart and bikes that were included, the fact that we stepped out the back door to the pool, and we also loved the green space off of the patio for our evening corn hole games. Anne was very attentive to all of our questions and made us feel welcome throughout the entire rental process. We will be back !!

This was a great home away from home. It is walking distance to the ocean and shopping. The owners are great and made our stay a very pleasant one indeed. It over looks the pool so the view is very appealing. I highly recommend staying here. We plant to return in 2012

My family of 4 and our golden retriever stayed at "Bit O' Paradise" in December of 2010. We had a fantastic time. The beds were super comfortable, and the location of the villa can't be beat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. We walked or rode bikes everywhere. Forest Beach is a very nice area with a lot to do. Many good restaurants too.

My husband our dog and I stayed the week of 10/16/10. The condo has everything you need for the week and the bed is Great! The walk to the beach is a short walk within 10 min. You can walk to Pope Ave to the Bi-Lo or the restaurants in just a few minutes. You really don't need a car if you're going to Coligny Circle area, which has everything you need. Great restaurants, bars and fun shopping. The bikes were awesome!! We really enjoyed riding around the island and on the beach. Anne was very helpful during our stay. We had a few questions and I emailed her and she got right back to us. The booklet they put together is very helpful also. It has restaurant, shopping and other island suggestions. We tried a few of the restaurant suggestion and we were never disappointed.

We spent a whole month in this perfect place with our two grandchildren and a dog Yaga. Taken together this was a very demanding group with often conflicting desires and schedules. Yet, a very comfortable appartement with all amenities in perfect condition kept us happy in harmonious coexistence for the whole time. The thought that Anne was not far away always friendly and forthcoming in her responses to our questions about finding our way around this beautiful island was very comforting, The beautiful swiming pool across the patio, short walk to a fantastic beach contributed to our very succesful family vacations. We enjoyed staying at Island House #109! The condo itself was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the grill, bikes, and beach accessories all provided. The pool is large and very well maintained, we used it everyday. Walking to the beach was enjoyable on the bike path. You don't need your car here. We walked and biked several times to Coligny Plaza - just minutes. When you want to explore further, Forest Beach is a short drive from most points of interest. The owners were very pleasant and easy to work with. We would recommend this villa to anyone visiting Hilton Head.

What a great little place to stay for our first trip to Hilton Head. We were sad to leave. Everything we needed was there, making our vacation that much easier. The bikes were terrific to have. What a nice way to get around and see the island. The unit was clean and well-appointed with beautiful furniture and artwork. The pool was perfect especially being right outside the door and the beach was close. And thanks for the beach cart - so much easier than having to lug our things there - even with the short walk. The patio on the back had a great view and was nice for hanging out after a long day of play. And it was fabulous to have the gas grill! We would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing and private vacation.

We were there for the month of March, 2010. Anne made the whole rental process easy. She is not only reponsive but anticipates what renters like to see when they arrive at the condo. There was nothing that we could have asked for that wasn't provided..and more. The welcome basket was wonderful. The condo is comfortable and lovely. We enjoyed the art work and the bikes. There was nothing we needed in the kitchen that wasn't there. It is a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything was there that would be needed for a day at the beach. We just didn't get the weather but still enjoyed our time there. And so did our two terriers. Thanks, Anne.
