Beach Front Location
Located right on the beach, with its own access to the sand below, you can enjoy many relaxing hours of beach combing and unwinding to the soothing sound of the surf. The beach is part of the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, and during low tide, it offers up tide pools filled with crabs, sea stars, shellfish and anemones. From the house you will see the occasional seal or sea lion lumber up onto the beach, whales spouting as they travel by, and pelicans diving for fish. The main entrance to the Reserve is located just a block away, where you can view seals as they bask in the sun on the exposed reefs, and explore additional tide pools filled with an array of sea life.
In-House Entertainment
For those who prefer to stay in, the house is equipped to entertain indoors with a breathtaking view. A small arcade of full size video games can be found in the garage: Time Crisis, Multigame (Gyruss, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Qix, Dig Dug, Mr. Do, Galaga, and Jr. Pac Man), Scrabble, and Flim Flam. The living area is wired for stereo sound with an iTunes music catalog. The media room has a flat screen TV with a Dish Network premium channel package, and is wired with 5.1 surround sound for the full movie experience. The gourmet kitchen can accommodate the preparation of large, multi-course meals with its six-burner, four-oven AGA range, and the large dining table can seat up to sixteen.

For those who need a little work with their play, we provide an available WiFi connection, free long distance calling (USA & Canada), and a computer with a fax/copier/printer.
Bedroom Configuration
Fall asleep to the peaceful sound of the ocean in one of our newly renovated bedrooms. The Master Suite contains a King Size Select Comfort Sleep Number bed that allows you to adjust the firmness or softness of the bed to your own personal level. The adjoining private bath contains a two person shower with a touch of spa luxury. The Children’s Room can sleep up to 4 children of various ages. It contains a Twin Size Loft Bed and a Standard Size Crib. There is also an additional fold out Twin Bed, as well as a Twin Size Sleeping Loft accessible from the Loft Bed. The Media Room contains a convertible Day Bed/King Size Bed and can be used as a private bedroom. The Living room has a Full Size Fold-Out Sofa as well as a sleeping loft with a Queen Size Mattress.

Why the Owner Chose Half Moon Bay
Having spent her early years in rural Kentucky, Christy has always loved the country and small town setting. When she moved to California, she discovered the beach and couldn’t get enough of it. Her dream had always been to live near the coast. Richard, having been born in San Francisco, has always loved The City. The location of the property in Moss Beach was a perfect match for both of them. It provided the rural coastal setting that Christy had always dreamed of, but it is located within minutes of San Francisco, which satisfies Richard’s craving for city life.
The Unique Benefits at this House
After purchasing their home in 2005, Richard and Christy did an extensive remodel and upgrade of the home’s interior. Located right on the beach, with its own access to the sand below, you can enjoy many relaxing hours of beach combing and unwinding to the soothing sound of the surf. The beach is part of the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, and during low tide, it offers up tide pools to explore. The main entrance to the Reserve is located just a block away, where you can view seals and explore additional tide pools.
Any low tide below 1.0 feet will provide an array of tidepools with a variety of plants, and marine invertebrates. The lowest minus tides are not necessary for an exciting experience.

Richard and Christy are proud parents of three kids (6 year old son, and 1 year old twin girls). Richard is a San Francisco native who has lived his life in the Bay Area. He is an avid arcade game collector and snowboarder. Christy was born in Kentucky, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area when she was a teenager, where she then met Richard in High School. Though life with three kids can be hectic, they love to travel and invest in homes with unique locations and views.
