Fun, fun, fun is what you will be having in this electronic dream home with all the bells and whistles! Everyone in this large 5-bedroom, 4-bath house has a place to play or relax. Its 6 showers, which can all be run simultaneously, will make sure everyone can get cleaned up quickly for the day or evening.
The house contains luxury comforts like a radiant heat system, propane and coal BBQ on the balcony overlooking the lake, outdoor Jacuzzi, two queen-size sofabeds, one twin-size sofabed, a TV with basic cable and DVD player are in every bedroom, front load washer & dryer, and most importantly, what every laptop user would want... Wi-Fi (wireless internet). The house is a little over one mile from Heavenly Ski Resort and is a little over 3 miles above the casinos and Lake Tahoe. All three local attractions can be seen from the house.
The first master bedroom has a Tempur-Pedic queen-size adjustable bed. You can enjoy an infinite number of ergonomic rest positions whenever you like. With its wireless remote, it electronically adjusts to your every need to create a place of true nighttime renewal for body and mind. The second master bedroom has a queen-size Sleep Comfort bed. Discover the most comfortable sleep is the one you control yourself. The firmness control system allows both people to enjoy their individual comfort levels, from 'pillowy' plush to pleasantly firm.
Both master bedrooms have dual vanities, Whirlpool baths, separate water closet for privacy, and a 2-person shower/steam room. Steam bathing contributes to a brighter, healthier outlook, increase blood circulation, metabolism, and provides a haven from mental and physical stress. Allow the warm moisturizing environment to take you to a level of relaxation not realized.
The upstairs bedroom contains two twin beds, one of which is a Select Comfort bed. It shares a bathroom with the common area. One of the downstairs bedrooms has a queen bed and a small library and sitting area. The other downstairs bedroom has a bunkbed (twin size over full size) and a view of Lake Tahoe. The two downstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom.
The game room has 17 free to play arcade video games, a foosball table, and an outdoor hot tub for relaxing. Space Lords, Millipede, Asteroids, Empire City 1931, Marble Madness, Sinistar, Gyruss, Pin Bot (pinball), Ms. Pac Man, Popeye, Kick Man, Spy Hunter, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II C.E., Time Soldiers, and Exerion, and Flim Flam are the arcade games that await your family.
The great room, located off the main entryway, is laid out with a very open floor plan, which includes a large wood fireplace, living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living area has a TV with surround sound and Dish Network Satellite service witch includes 100 channels of the best entertainment available. Also in the living area are two computers with a broadband connection as well as a fax machine for those who need to connect to the office. The kitchen contains TWO Jenaire ranges and all stainless steel appliances with beautiful granite counter tops. The large dining room table can accommodate eight people easily. There is also additional seating for up to eight more people at the kitchen's breakfast counter and a living room side tables.

We had a wonder time at The Bulan house. My kids 7 and 10 would say "This is the bestest place ever". The pictures showed no justice to the house. The game room was a hit..we havent played and had so much fun in a long time. I usually come home with a sore back from sleeping in an uncomfortable bed...but, the temperpedic bed in the master room was perfect. I loved the kitchen..it had everything that was needed. The only thing that i regret is that we didnt stay longer. Thank you to the Bulan Family!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We just got back from an amazing vacation at the Bulan Lake House, lots of amazing memories (such as my Mother in Law cheating at Mortal Kombat, lol.) but what they Don't tell you about the house is that it is just minutes away (walking) from a trail head for the Sierra Rim Trail. So IF, and I do mean, If you can get your gang away from the video games there is great hiking, mountain biking, and we saw people with atv's and motorcycles too. We had an amazing hike and that was with a 5 year old and 7 year old - incredible views of the lake and mountains as you walk. I was able to get away every morning for a quick walk up the trail for a little ways :). Thanks for a terrific vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

House was perfect. Steam showers and foosball table were big hits when not enjoying the tons of snow on the mountain or losing money at the casinos. Kitchen was great for cooking for a big crowd. About the owner: Richard and Christy are proud parents of three kids (6 year old son, and 1 year old twin girls). Richard is a San Francisco native who has lived his life in the Bay Area. He is an avid arcade game collector and snowboarder. Christy was born in Kentucky, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area when she was a teenager, where she then met Richard in High School. Though life with three kids can be hectic, they love to travel and invest in homes with unique locations and views.
Why the Owner Chose Stateline:
Having spent her early years in rural Kentucky, Christy has always loved the country and small town setting. Richard, having been born in San Francisco, has always preferred city life. The top of Kingsbury caters to both personalities. Weather it be enjoying mountain life of hiking, biking, snowmobiling, or skiing up high, or with the city life of casinos, shopping, and restaurants only 3 miles below.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
After purchasing their home in 2001, Richard and Christy tore down the old house (keeping half of the existing foundation) and replaced it with a 3,000 square foot new house. The house is extremely comfortable for Christy who prefers to stay in, but close to Heavenly Ski Resort, casinos, shopping, movie theaters, and Lake Tahoe for Richard who prefers to go out.
