Much better than staying at the hotel and at a fraction of the price! No required valet parking,simply park in your designated space close to the unit,Owner has a membership with the resort so we had full access to all the amenities the resort offers.In addition,the location of this unit is in the center of the resort,closer to the resort amenities than 90 % of the hotel rooms ! Great Find !

Beautiful scenery and multiple activities available

We had a little getaway here with a friend of mine visiting me from outside the country. She was so impressed that this place was located in the middle of a beautiful resort village and that we had so many things we could do. We enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, golfing, enjoying at the Spa, and chilling at the beach which was 1 mile away. The condo was clean, well-maintained and spacious. I had two more guests in town one day and we all were able to stay here comfortably because there was an extra queen-size bed. The view from the wide windows facing the pools and tennis courts we was beautiful, green, and quiet.We will be back soon !

Enjoyable Getaway with Great Value

We had an amazing time in San Diego. Our stay in this very well maintained condo was everything we expected and more. It was conveniently located, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make healthy meals, just like home. After a day of tennis and golf it was the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. We're planning on coming back this summer with our children so they can enjoy the amenities on the property and I can enjoy the spa. I highly recommend this place for people who love the benefits of staying on a resort but not resort prices. Thank you for making our vacation a real treat!

False Advertising

This listing is totally misrepresented. It is not a one bedroom unit, it is a one room unit with two beds and living room furniture. It is definitely not 1000 square feet. Most importantly this unit is in no way handicapped accessible or friendly with or without limitations - there are stairs to enter the building and no ramp, the bathroom doors are not wide enough for a wheelchair, there are no bars or assistance devices anywhere in the apartment. The unit was shabby and dirty - there was one used bar of soap between both bathrooms, no paper towels or other amenities I have always found in other vrbo rentals. Even the television did not work. Additionally the owner not only lists the unit falsely but confirmed in oral conversations things that were not true. Not recommended to anyone.

Owner response:A classic example of someone trying to get something for nothing,Ad clearly states unit has two murphy beds in one large living area,unit is handicap accessible with very few limitations.The city of Carlsbad has one of the strictest handicap building codes in the country. Square footage is over 1000 feet according to La Costa Resort building plans. Unit is cleaned professional by the same staff that maintain rooms at the La Costa Resort & Spa with a owner inspection before new guest arrive to make sure everything is in perfect order. After an investigation it was discovered complainant has a history of rendering goods or services then asking for a refund based on lies and deceit.
