This is a beautiful, fully-furnished condominium is located on the second floor (top level) on the east end of the island and has everything you'll need for a stress free vacation! The master bedroom has a comfy King-sized bed, 19" TV and DVD player, as well as a breathtaking view of the canal.
The bathroom is clean with soothing lighting, fluffy bath towels and a tub with shower.
The kitchen has new countertops, cabinets and appliances. Small appliances (such as coffee maker, toaster, and microwave oven), glassware, silverware, and dishes are also provided for you. There is a breakfast bar and cozy dining nook.
The living area is airy and full of light with comfortable furnishings, a 36-inch TV, DVD player, and stereo/CD player.
Other amenities include a washer/dryer in the unit, ceiling fans, dimmer-switch lighting, and a wonderful view of the well-maintained property. Boat dockage, BBQ grills and private sunbathing are all located directly behind the building. You may also enjoy eating or watching the sun rise and set at the bistro "table for 2" located on the balcony at the front of the building.
All of this is conveniently located within steps of the pool & beach areas, and biking distance of restaurants, shops, and the famous Sanibel Lighthouse.

They say 3 benefits of teaching are June, July & August! I am an elementary school teacher and have enjoyed many spring and summer vacations on Sanibel. It is the ideal place to go for relaxation and rejuvenation and, as a school teacher, time on Sanibel's pristine beaches with it's spectacular sunrises and sunsets is the best way for me to return to the classroom well-rested and ready to be the best teacher that I can be for my students.
Why the Owner Chose Sanibel Arms
While grieving the death of my father, my best friend insisted I go to Sanibel with her for a little rest and relaxation. I experienced tremendous serenity and healing there and decided that Sanibel was a place where I wanted to spend more time. I truly believe that if everyone experienced a week on Sanibel, the world would be a much happier place!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I am truly a beach baby and enjoy the sun, sand and surf of Sanibel. I love that the beaches are quiet and restful, with just the sounds of the waves and seagulls whispering the cares of the world away. In addition to reading and relaxing on the beach, I enjoy engaging in one of Sanibel's most "famous" beach activities - shelling! Sanibel is listed on the Travel channel as being one of the best shelling beaches in the world!
I also enjoy the tremendous variety of dining experiences available. You'll find everything from gourmet dogs and burgers, to sushi, to fresh salads and seafood. Many restaurants provide live music, tropical drinks, and early bird specials. Shopping the boutiques and galleries of Sanibel is a foray into local colors and textures. You can find everything from the tropics including clothing, jewelry, home decor, sandals, and more. I want to share all of these unique experiences with you!

Our family of 3 enjoyed a stay here. The photos are accurate. Small kitchen is clean and well stocked. A short pleasant walk to the beach, at the opposite end of the complex, just across the street. Reasonably priced bicycle rental on property...Bike path directly in front of complex. Unit is on second floor; no elevator. Generous supply of towels, including some for the beach. A nice view from the bedroom window overlooking the canal...We saw a manatee surface one morning! Grounds of Sanibel Arms are meticulously maintained and lovely. Delightful next door neighbors (permanent residents) were welcoming and friendly. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. The island has so many restaurants to choose from. Our favorites: Over Easy, Grandma Dots, Lazy Flamingo, Lighthouse Cafe; and Green Flash on Captiva Island. For fun, we recommend the Shell Museum, an evening cruise to watch the birds come in to roost on Rookery Island, a tram tour of J. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, shell collecting on the beach while watching the sun rise, and last, but certainly not least, biking. Sanibel Island...Love at first sight! Sanibel Arms...A lovely place to stay.

I was fortunate to spend 2 weeks at this well maintained, comfortable condo with all amenities that were needed fully provided. It is located on the desirable east end of the island. My husband and I are anxiously awaiting our return stay next summer. I would highly recommend this condo and please note that the owner was a pleasure to deal with.

We just returned from a very enjoyable 11 night stay in this condo. The unit is well appointed and has an open spacious floor plan which made for a very comfortable stay. The complex is well maintained and attractively landscaped. The beach is a very short walk from the unit and the bedroom overlooks a very picturesque canal located behind the building. Gas grills are conviently located behind the building along the canal. Everyone we encountered during our stay was pleasant, the Sanibel Arms staff were very friendly and helfpul and the condo owner was a pleasure to work with. The complex is located on the East end of the island and it is about a one and a quarter mile walk to the lighthouse on the beach. There is an extensive network of bike trails on the island that will take you from your condo to all of the restaurants, shops, and attractions on the island. The trails are also great for walking or jogging, We really enjoyed our stay in this unit at Sanibel Arms and would stay here again. We highly recommend it!

Just returned from staying at this unit at Sanibel Arms for 2 glorious weeks. The unit was just fabulous.I would highly recommend this property to anyone in a heartbeat. It has everything you need for a very nice stay on the Island. The owner was extremely fast answering any e-mails and the office staff were all very genuinely friendly and helpful. The unit was very well maintained and clean and all the photos were extremely well representative of the unit and surroundings. As far as attractions, activities, you can find anything you want to do, but my main reason for going is the slow pace of the Island life on Sanibel, the tranquility, peace, and just feeling like one with nature at it's very best.!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay on Sanibel. The unit was clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient to the beautiful beach. Having the canal behind the unit was an advantage as you could watch the boats and fishermen as well as hear the "splashing" of fish at night. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The hiking and nature trails suited us perfectly. We will be back.

This condo was great, and the best part is you can walk out to the canal and fish from there...the best fishing I have ever had on Sanibel. Condo is clean, has everything I needed and the location is good.
