    Hard to find rentals not listed by realtor companies anymore (hence, renter pays realtor fees) and additional cleaning fees, taxes, etc. Not this one...much appreciated!!! Owner very personable, sends detailed info ahead of time, SO much better experience than dealing with those who don't own the rental. This rental is great for couple or small family...also has extra FREE amenities of 2 adult bikes and beach chairs - bike-riding is a MUST here!! No hills, see the many island deer up close, carry your camera in the bicycle basket! Not having amenity cards was not a problem - meals in the room (sandwiches, pasta, etc.) and some meals obtained exploring off-island in Beaufort and Charleston.We don't go to the beach to use a pool, so this was no problem either. Exploring the island by auto and bike was awesome - the most beautiful place I have ever seen! The homes, the landscaping, the wildlife...I have found my retirement goal (...in a few years!).

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    Well, we are back home now and I must say I miss waking up to the sounds of the beach. We enjoyed staying at your place and will probably want to stay there again if it's just the two of us. The location is perfect; beach access was so easy even with a three-year-old and all the stuff she needed. The bed was more comfortable than any other I have slept in during my travels, not as good as home but close. A larger refrigerator that will fit wine bottles is my only suggestion....

    Thank you so much for the use of your condo. It lacked for nothing. I just led a very undemanding schedule--no "wake up" alarms, no eating schedule, some walking and a lot of reading. Because of the temperature and wind, I think the only time I used the air conditioner was when I unloaded the car and then reloaded. The windows were open along with the screen door; during the day I could enjoy the breeze and hear the ocean....

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get a note to you, but I had major surgery on 8/3 and am recovering nicely. . . . I was hoping to get back one more time this year, but will wait and see.     Betty- Wanted to say how great it was to be so near the beach. The room was clean and very well ordered. Thanks so much for having such high standards. We'll be back if the group stays small. Have a wonderful season.

And you had a lot of little extras that we really appreciated -- we get a lot of places that don't even bother to have soap or paper products or any of those kinds of things -- you have to bring everything! So it was really nice; nice and quiet like you said, and boy, really close to the beach! So thanks and we'll look forward to renting from you again."

    A recent second visit to this Sunsuite was just as enjoyable as the first. The weather was beautiful; the bike rides, the beach walks, the accommodations couldn't have been better. We're ready to schedule our third trip soon.
