We had an unforgettable stay in this apartment at historical building and a fine place on the Grand Canal. Quiet place with both feeling of an autonomy and affinity of all Venise's see-sights and attactions. There are many restaurants recommend nearby. Fresh seafood from Realto Market are recommended favourably. Smooth communication and convient accomodation
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed here in September 2011 for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Location is absolutely the best. Accomodations were lovely, and with two couples we had loads of room in living and bedroom space. Judit was great and we were able to eat at one of her recommendations and it was as expected..wonderful! Our water taxi dropped us off at our door and picked us up the same way, so luggage was not a problem as it can be in Venice. We would definately stay here again! There is a bit of noise from the restaurant down stairs, but as the others have said, the bedrooms are away from the front of the unit, so the noise was not a problem for us. Besides, the view from the dining window is better than watching TV!

My family stayed here in July. Everything was as described. Great size for a family of six (my wife and me and 4 teens). Small cafe just below. We spent the weekend here Friday thru Sunday. Not perfectly quiet, but not too noisy (say hello to Tito - you'll get it if you stay). Location is great. Less than a five minute walk to Realto bridge. Even better,if you want to get away from the tourists five minute walk the opposite way to quiet empty streets. The fish market is a short walk over the bridge (or a quick boat ride directly across the canel). The kitchen window, which is the pic shown in the ad, is great for morning and evening coffee and drinks. Owner was pleasant and helpful. I recommend and would stay here again.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous apartment. Right on the Grand Canal and so tastefully renovated we were in heaven. Judit kindly met us on arrival and pointed our where the closest supermarket was and the direction of many of the attractions. We appreciated the WiFi available at the apartment and the luxury of all the amenities. The restaurant downstairs is very popular into the wee hours of the morning, so the front bedroom was noisy at night but the two at the back were very quiet. The apartment is spacious and the appliances all very modern. We would highly recommend this hideaway to families or couples travelling together.

This wonderfully roomy apartment is just blocks from the vaporetto and the Rialto market, but is tucked down a discreet alley, and so affords a cool and tranquil respite from the tourist bustle. It features a remarkable synthesis of original (17th c) timbering, doors and woodwork, and tasteful modern conveniences and furnishings. Our party of five loved our time in the flat -- it was a delight to come home to. We hope one day to return. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here while in Venice. The apartment is very well kept. Great location. Views of the grand canal from our apartment. The courtyard it was on had a nice little trattoria where people hung out late into the night, but wasn't noisy in the bedrooms when you wanted to retire. Judit was a wonderful host, gave great dinner recommendations, and was very helpful during our stay. I would definitely go back.

This property is a spectacular apartment with the right combination of style, charm and privacy. It is located on the Grand Canal and easy to navigate. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The design combines rustic with modern. Fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom with plenty of space. The check-in procedure was smooth and efficient. The listing was accurate. There is a small german jazz club right around the corner that was fun too. No problems with noise or any inconvenience. Was truly a delight and an unusual find. Thanks.
