THE COTTAGE - Our Bluegrass Cottage offers singles, families, horse lovers, artist, UK sports fans and others a taste of old Kentucky traditions of by providing privacy and quiet in a charming and comfortable, custom-built mid-century brick home, immersed with original art paintings by local artist and horse memorabilia of the region. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the screened porch – take a morning stroll around historic Versailles – rest on the garden bench and view a pink Kentucky sunset.
LOCATION, LOCATION - The Bluegrass Cottage is located in the historic town of Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky - within easy walking distance of many restaurants, antique shops, and city recreational parks. It is also located within minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, University of Kentucky, Horse Farms, Vineyards, Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, historic Midway and the capital in Frankfort.
There are many fine golf courses along with fishing and boating opportunities on the Kentucky River, Clear Creek, and Elkhorn Creek. Cultural/entertainment venues are close by. Our Bluegrass Cottage Guest Book is on site and loaded with local attractions, events and maps.
Most of the small town scenes in the movies Elizabethtown and Dreamer were filmed here. The city's name is pronounced differently from the French city of the same name . . . but locals pronounce it ("ver-sails").

The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 are comprised of the world championships for eight equestrian sports – show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining and para-equestrian. Book early for the games! Additional amenities for long tern rentals available.

We require a 30% deposit at the time of reservation. 2010 WEG rates are $400/night
Please note our cancellation policy - 7-day notice required, except
30-days during racing season (Apr-May, Sep-Nov).
Cancellations with less than 7 days (30 days during racing season) will be
be charged the full amount. $25 cancellation fee.
Pets require prior approval & there is a $45 pet clean fee. We only accept dogs.
