The Perfect Family Getaway!

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway full of ocean views and relaxation. The house looks right over the park and ocean which makes for great sunsets. The kitchen is new and wonderful for making big dinners. The location was close to everything in Bird Rock: Bahia for yummy mexican food, Windansea beach, Bird Rock Coffee which has the best coffee, and PB for some beers. John was attentive and great and the house was very clean, well maintained and spacious! I highly recommend this house and my family already wants to plan next year to do it all over again. Thank you, John!

Stayed here with 4 adults and 4 kids. Home was very clean and comfortable. Great view!! Great location!! The owner was very helpful. Would definitely go back. Make sure you walk down the street to Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. Great way to start the morning.

I can't recommend this house enough. It is absolutely beautiful, with every possible convenience. The owners take very good care of it, and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beds are comfortable and the linens and towels are luxurious and abundant. I have never stayed in a nicer vacation rental, and will stay there again if I can. The pictures show the amazing ocean views, but it is even nicer in person. For what you get, the price is extremely reasonable. I would also say that the house is much cleaner than any rental I have ever stayed in before, which makes it really easy to settle in and feel at home. I think the best part, though, is that John (the owner) is such a nice person. Because the house wasn't booked until the day after we were leaving, he let us stay late so we could nap our toddlers in the house before setting out. This is just one example of the many kindnesses he showed us during our stay. He was so courteous and accommodating that we were all touched. This has been our best rental experience ever!

This beautiful home has a great location with breathtaking views of the ocean. We travelled all over the San Diego and La Jolla during our trip and this house was the perfect jumping off spot and a great place to retreat back to at night. The location is convenient to local shopping, you can walk to restaurants and it is a very short drive to a great grocery store that stock wonderful steaks and seafood. The house is very well appointed and the kitchen had everything you would possibly need to create a great meal. We would definitely stay here again!
