Why the Owner Chose Ellijay
We wanted a property close to Atlanta, with a great view, and preferably new construction - this property provided all three, plus it sits on 1.5 acres in a secluded gated community.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
The view is incredible. We have an eight-person hot tub, a pool table, an air hockey table, and a 42" HDTV with DirecTV. The kitchen is marvelous (granite countertops, stainless steel appliances) and we're minutes away from shopping and restaurants in Ellijay GA. We recently finished the basement, which now includes a fourth bedroom and full bath. We've also added a stone path in the backyard leading to a beautiful outdoor fire pit.
Owner's Map of Ellijay
My wife and I live in Atlanta. We just had our first child - Hannah Rose - and we also have a six-year-old mutt named Dante. We love spending time in the North Georgia mountains, and we love our new cabin and can't wait to share it with others.

The cabin exceeded all our expectations and looks even better when you arrive than the pictures on the site. There is something for everyone to do on a rainy day and the view from the deck never gets old! The owners are friendly and accommodating and respond promptly to any communication. This trip was memorable for the entire family, thanks in no small part to our wonderful accommodations.

We have said this a few times before after cabin stays but this time we really mean it. We have developed a few must haves in our cabins and this one had ever one of them. Although it is just my wife and I with 2 dogs, we prefer a good sized cabin. A great view, pool table, and multiple TVs including one in the master bedroom are also essential. We had talked to the owner last year but chose a nice cabin in northeast GA instead. When we began to look for this year's trip we remembered the conversation with the owner and the appeal of the cabin. Everything with the booking and payment of the trip was very professional and easy to complete. As we drove through the gate of this very well kept and appealing mountain community we felt confident that we had made an excellent choice. As you enter the cabin you immediately feel comfortable in the home. The home was very clean and free of much of the clutter you see in some cabins. Once you get a look at the views you know you know you are not want to leave at the end of the week. We have only good things to say about the cabin. Everything you see in pictures and in the other reviews are accurate. Even though you are in a mountain community the houses are not bunched together but you feel safer because of the quality of the neighborhood and the gate at the main entrance. We have already looked at dates in February for a return but all the weekends are already booked. We have stayed in many cabins but don't think you will find a better quality cabin at this price anywhere else. One final note we really liked the location, just a few minutes to grocery stores and there is a Dollar General even closer in case you forget something. Ellijay and Blue Ridge are both easy drives with plenty of outdoor areas close by as well.

Loved your place! Very clean, excellent view, wonderful and comfortabale furnishings! Plenty of room for everyone, the foosball and pool tables were a bonus and the hot tub was wonderful! Only "drawback" was also the best thing.....the entrance/driveway was steep, allowing for the stunning view!

This home is a beautiful mountain retreat designed for large families. The multiple levels offer 4 private bedrooms plus some additional sleeping space if needed. The gameroom offers pool, air hockey, and satellite TV. The large dining table seats 8 and the leather sofas in the family room face a large flat screen TV and fireplace. We spent alot of time on the wrap around deck and enjoyed the large outdoor rock firepit. The owner provided for all our needs and was prompt in answering any of our questions before we rented. We hope to visit again.

Our group of three adults and two kids (ages 6 and 10) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On the outside you will find the beauty of the scenery that I imagine folks staying in the fall will find to be even more enjoyable. What one finds on the inside are clean, well-kept accommodations that will appeal to the diverse interests of any family or group. The fully finished basement is a child's (of any age) delight. Some can be playing the video games, while others are playing pool or air hockey and anyone else is watching the ball game. The main floor could then accommodate the group that prefers watching a movie, or playing some card games at the elevated kitchen table. Want some solitude . . . then mosey upstairs to the loft where there is no TV, but plenty of books and comfortable reading places and a couple of bedrooms if you want to take a nap. When you go outside, the same is true of the deck. There is plenty of room to gather for grilling, eating or having fun in the hot tub. But if you prefer some alone time for reflection, you can find a little nook on the deck that allows that as well. That is why the beauty and the balance struck me as apt descriptions. Finally, the owners were a delight to work with and though we did not have a lot of questions, they were helpful both by e-mail prior to leaving and even by phone upon arrival. Oh yeah, if you are a runner, you won't have to go far to get your "hill workout" . . . just get to the end of the driveway and take off. In that regard do be aware that there is rather steep incline getting to the cabin and thus a similar decline when you leave. It is all paved, so that won't be a problem - just know that is there. As far as nearby attractions, Fun World in Young Harris is about an hour away - it is a little drive, but our kids will tell you it was worth it - fun for those playing and reasonable for those paying.
