Come stay at "La Casa De La Luna Loca". This beautiful 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home is nestled in the exclusive ocean front community of Hermosa Palms. With 24hour security, huge community pool with swim up bar, tropical landscaping throughout, playground and private beach access, Hermosa Palms is the place to be. This 5 mile stretch of beach is boasted as one of the best surfer beaches in Costa Rica. Walk down the beach and you may discover the Turtle Preserve where visitors are always welcome. The Preserve gathers and protects the turtle eggs. If you visit at the right time, you can watch them safely release the newly hatched turtles into the ocean.
In as much as Hermosa Palms is the place to be, this private home called "La Casa De La Luna Loca" is the place to stay. When 150 steps is too far to walk to the community pool, just step outside your back door. You can sink right into the deepest and most refreshing pool in Hermosa Palms. This newly built custom designed pool has an 8ft deep area where you can dive in and do some laps. There's also 2 large sunning platforms that are perfect for tanning or relaxing with a cocktail. Or, get out of the sun and sit in breezy comfort under the teak roofed patio. A unique hand designed wrought iron and costa rican hardwood fence surrounds the pool, patio and all the exotic Costa Rican plants in your secret garden oasis. If you get tired of this scenery, head to the 3rd floor roof deck where you can watch green parrots and scarlet macaws fly by or just check out the awesome scenic veiws. Plus, play your favorite music on the CD player. The home is situated with the most "green" area abutting it, a covered teak-roofed patio affording outdoor entertainment rain or shine. A children's playground can be viewed from the kitchen window, outside patio and pool alike.
The kitchen is fully equipped. You can eat right there at the breakfast bar or move to the formal dining room with seating for 6. Or, eat in the living room while watching cable tv on the 32inch Sony. The DVD player plays movie's and CD's and there's and I-home too. The house is also equipped with wireless internet and a home phone for your convenience. (Local calls only please)
All 3 bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The largest is the master bedroom with queen bed, 32inch Sony television, DVD player, and I-home. It has it's own private master bath with jacuzzi tub, dual vanities and a seperate shower. The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and sliding screen doors with step out balconies. Memory foam toppers are on all of the beds to ensure a good nights sleep. A central air unit on the second floor will keep everyone nice and cool too.
Hermosa palms is located just six miles south of the beach town of Jaco. Jaco has tons of restaraunts, clothing and souvenier shops, surf shops, beach bars, night clubs, casinos, grocery stores, and more. It's also the place to go when you want to sign up for fishing charters, monkey tours, car and atv rentals, crocodile tours, hiking and birdwatching trips, canoe trips, white water rafting, horseback riding, canopy tours, ariel tram rides, and much more. Head 5 more miles down the road and you can visit the multi-million dollar marina known as Los Suenos. Check out the restaraunts, shopping, and all the boats, or play a round of golf. I can run with my dog on seven miles of pristine beach, lounge at my pool with my neighbors - or cook an abundance of local fish and bring it to the beach for sunset. Hermosa Palms is a wonderful place to meet nice people from all over. The huge community pool is great for get togethers and BBQ's. Plus, I love the ocean. It's great for boogie bording and surfing and it's the most romantic spot at sundown anywhere.
