  This has been our home for the past month and we have enjoyed it thoroughly. It is updated, nicely furnished and has every amenity you could think of and a very well stocked kitchen. Terri and Paul are wonderful to work with and we would certainly rent from them again. The area is beautiful, surrounded by golf courses and wineries. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful with beautifully maintained grounds.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

  My family stayed here in July and we were very impressed with the quality of the home and the location. Terri and Paul, the owners, were attentive to all of our needs. The climate is ideal, always around 70 degrees. If you are a golfer, the value is the best on the Central Coast. The Blacklake Golf Course and Avila Beach Golf Course are sister courses and offer fantastic deals. While Avila was in much better shape during our stay, Blacklake was still good and I was able to play at discounted rates at both courses after buying the Infinite Card which gives great deals and free rounds at both courses.

  This is a truly beautifully appointed home inside and out. Every detail has been addressed to make your stay easy, comfortable and enjoyalbe. Everything you would need in your kitchen to cook any menu has been thought of and provided. Sitting outside in the mornings with a cup of coffee or evenings with a glass of wine and enjoying the quiet and beautiful view is so very relaxing. The owners provided lots of great information about the surrounding area, including things to do, restaurants and attractions. If you are a golfer you are going to enjoy Black Lake's 27 holes of golf. There are many, many other courses near by to enjoy also. The home is perfectly located to explore the Central Coast, it is easy to get up to San Simeon or go to Santa Barbara for the day. We would recommend this home to our friends and family. Most important we cannot wait to return. We had a wonderful vacation, in a truly beautiful home. How lucky we are that the owners have made their home available.

  We stayed at Terri & Paul’s lovely vacation home for 5 months this past winter (2009/2010) and really enjoyed it. This is the third year we have stayed at the Black Lake Resort and we changed rental locations this past winter in order to better enjoy the outdoors with the nice patio deck and abundant sunshine that the southern exposure this rental location provides. As a bonus we were able to enjoy the fresh apples, lemons and tomatoes that were growing right on this property. We found the owner’s to be very accommodating and pleasant to deal with and we plan to return for another 5 months next winter. We have found the local area to be a very friendly and enjoyable with lots of things to do beyond golfing. For golfers the Black Lake golf resort is staffed by some of the nicest folks and it is truly to most affordable golf course we have played at during our many years of travelling south for the winter. We would not hesitate to recommend this house and the Black Lake resort to anyone.

  Stayed in the peace and quiet of Nipomo. The home was warm comfortable and in a very convenient area for all that the central coast has to offer. The accomadations and all that went with the house exceeded our expectations. Woul use this vacation rental again and will not hesitate to recommend this to others. Property owners take exceptional pride in their rental.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
