Enjoy an unforgettable "Friday to Friday" Cape Cod summer vacation rental in Dennis Port, the "Heart of Cape Cod". Our charming, family friendly, 3 bedroom beach cottage is located a short walk (.1 mile) to 1 of many beautiful, clean sandy beaches that Dennis has to offer.
Guests staying with us can also pay an additional fee to the Town of Dennis and get a 7 day non-resident beach sticker that will enable our guest’s access and parking at over 16 different beaches each with its own unique offerings. From the low tide tidal pools on the bay side to the warm waters and exciting surf of Nantucket Sound. For more information on the town of Dennis and all it has to offer go to the Dennis Chamber of Commerce website and look at the visitors section for upcoming seasonal rates. Having small children ourselves - there is nothing better than walking to the beach from the cottage for a quick swim -or- loading up the minivan and backing right up to the sandy West Dennis beach, a mere mile or so from our cottage. No other Cape Cod town can offer this sort of access and makes staying in Dennis Port all the more special. Scargo Lake is also a family favorite for swimming and fishing after a great day in the salt water.
If water activities are in store for the family then try kayaking up the Swan River or try windsurfing. If fishing is in the plans, boat, kayak rentals and fishing charters are available in Dennis Port. Local seafood markets, restaurants, package and gift stores as well as penny candy, miniature golf and ice cream stores including the famous Sundae School are all located close by our cottage.
After a relaxing day enjoying the warmest waters in New England, come back to the cottage and clean off all the salt and sand in our new in 2009 "family size" private outside cedar shower complete with a changing/drying area with a bench seat. If outdoor showering is a concern we also recently completed a full indoor bathroom remodel with all new facilites.
Our beach cottage is fully equipped, fully furnished and includes free Wi-Fi internet secured access, family friendly board games, books, DVD movies all on the premises for all ages to enjoy. We only ask you treat our cottage as you would if it were your own.
Please Note: This coming season we will be going to a Friday to Friday rental schedule to allow for an easier travel experience for our guests.

We leave it stocked with alot of misc items that will make your stay more enjoyable and less expensive as you will not have to purchase these items for yourself. We only ask that you PLEASE treat our home as if it were your own.

- Kid Friendly : Home is located between 2 dead end roads. Very little car traffic, safe for kids to play, ride bikes and walk to beach from our home. We have young children who enjoy the time we spend here together creating family memories. Additionally, we have a family size outside shower fully enclosed with changing area perfect for families to clean up after a day at the beach!

Hello, I would like to thank you for visiting our beach house. Our family has always enjoyed summer vacations spent on the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod. My husband and I both share a passion for the ocean and have very fond memories of family time spent on the Cape. We have visited many locations on the Cape over the years and have found DennisPort to be a truly special place. The location (mid-cape), the beauty and the people make your time spent here a memory you will not soon forget.
Why the Owner Chose Dennis Port
The town of DennisPort boasts over 16 beaches, rivers and creeks that criss-cross the town from Bass River to Swan Pond. Water dominates DennisPort, dubbed the "Heart of Cape Cod" for its location, spirit, beauty and yes, its pristine, warm Nantucket Sound beaches.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Additionally, the town of Dennis is unique in that it offers non-residents the opportunity to experience both Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound beaches. Not many towns "if any" can offer this sort of access to both north and south sides of cape cod. Beach stickers are available at the Dennis Town Hall for a (1-week) non-resident pass that will allow direct access and free parking to all 16 salt water beaches and numerous lakes/ponds that Dennis offers.

Hi Tricia, I wrote a review the day you sent back our check for the deposit. It didnt post? If not please let me know and I will be more than wiling to write what an awesome time it was and what a pleasure t was to stay at your home. I am sure you will see us next season, once my husband can finalize his vacation I will see if you have it available for us. Its usually the same time but ya never know. Im trying to talk him into three weeks...fingers crossed!!!! lol!!!

Hi Patricia I received our deposit back today, thank you very much. I would absolutely LOVE to book for next year. I was hoping to do a Friday to Friday and the first week of August worked out beautifully. I know I sound like a broken record but we absolutely loved staying at your cottage. It was so cozy and family oriented. It was just what the doctor ordered for my family for the older ones who seem to be getting old way to fast. I saw a sign at Ebbs gift shop "forced family fun" I thought that was perfect. Anyway, keep me posted whether Friday to Friday is acceptable and what I should do to reserve it. Do you rent weekends off season? Is there much to do there off season? Is it a winter property to or do you winterize it? Thanks again for sharing your home with us Sincerely (blocked for privacy)

My daughter's wedding was down the street at the Lighthouse Inn, and she was in Seattle until just days before. The house we rented in Dennisport was just perfect!!!! It was everything described on the VRBO website and more. Convience, beach, Cape Cod community and a house that was fully stocked with not just house needs but beach toys,cooler, outside grill and picnic table,etc.. I am a registered nurse, and there was not one item I needed during the week that the owners had not already thought of. It was so nice to have to replace items before leaving the house rather than run out to store every time. This rental was so nice we could live here year round. Definitely would rent again and reccommend to family and friends. The wedding was a success and our rental property made everything that much easier and nicer. Thank you to the owners for sucha great accommadations, in an area full fo fun and relaxation.

The property exceeded our expectations. (The owners obviously care about maintaining the cottage and grounds) The cottage was very nicely decorated and very clean.....it's close to numerous beaches, minutes to a Mammoth Stop and Shop grocery store on Rt. 134, loved the fire pit in the back yard. and it was very nice to have all the beach supplies like chairs, coolers, boogie boards etc right there for our use. (We never would have fit them in our SUV otherwise) The only negative that I can say is, the A/C unit had a tough time keeping the cottage cool but i think that was to be expected......we had a string of 90 degree days during our stay. (The cottage had fans galore which we used at night when the temps dropped down) Absolutely loved the Flat panel TV ...so did our 21 month old twins!! We'll be back for sure!
