"Bayroute" is a large beachfront property that has three separate units that are available- all 3 are directly on the pristine, sandy beach. Special Rates are available for larger groups that are renting more than one unit. It is perfect for friends/families to be close but have their own space. All have that Bahamian, handcrafted, cottage feel. Watch for falling coconuts! **NO smoking, NO pets
(1) Beach Level - "boondocks". This cozy unit is just feet away from the beach. It has a small bedroom, double bed. A single Bahama bed in the main room. There is a full kitchen. A kitchen table. Bathroom with a stand-up shower. A CD/MP3/Radio. A/C. Baby's Pack and Play. Shaded Patio. Terrific views- like being on a sailboat. Sleeps 3 + baby. $750/week
(2) The largest unit "Upper-East" is located on the second floor: 1 bed/1 bath. A full spacious kitchen. This unit has a sleeping porch with 2 single Bahama Beds. There is also a convertible sofa in the main open room. Upstairs balcony overlooking the beach/ocean. CD/Radio. Large kitchen table. A/C in bedroom. Unique Bahamian-style craftsmanship. Sleeps 5-6 max. $1000/week
(3) "Upper-West" an adjoining room (locking door) to Upper-East. This unit has its own outside entrance. It is similar to a hotel room in its layout. It has a full size bed. There is a small fridge, micro, and hot plate. Full Bath. A/C. Upstairs Balcony. Sleeps 2. $500/week (the whole upstairs may be rented: both units 2 and 3, please contact for availability/pricing)
Spanish Wells is a quaint outer island. Perfect for families wanting to get away from the tourist traps of the Caribbean. It is a KITE-SURFER'S PARADISE. The rental comes with the free use of a kayak. Feel free to contact me - we have plenty more photos to email. You can walk from the property everywhere: the grocery store, the bank, shopping, restaurants, the harbor, churches, etc. There are also golf cart/boat rentals on the island. Fishing/snorkeling guides are available.

Year Purchased: 1997
I have been fascinated with the Bahamas and Spanish Wells in particular since I was a young boy. My family and I have been fortunate to live in Spanish Wells part time. It is our favorite place to be. My family and I have spent a great deal of time (and vacations) working to make our property comfortable for family and friends. We love the community and people. We have decided to rent the property to offset our expenses. Please enjoy our home.

We chose to have a home in Spanish Wells because we love the Bahamas and Spanish Wells. We think Spanish Wells is a special, family-friendly island. It is a very safe island. The water colors are spectacular. Fishing/diving is second to none. Perfect beaches for small kids. It has been my dream to own property in Spanish Wells.
