Imagine yourself tucked into a quaint little hamlet, minutes away from Red Rock Crossing. One of the most photographed areas in all of Arizona. Hiking trails, swimming holes, fishing and picnics are just footsteps away.
This luxurious 2100 sq. ft. solar brand new "Green Home" is a haven for total relaxation, with soothing colors and a view of "Cathedral Rock". The many windows and breeze way give this home a cool, open, and airy feeling, allowing the natural light to flow throughout. Light colored cedar cabinetry in the kitchen and soft cork flooring make this a very comfortable place to hang out.
The counter tops are artistic in nature combining recycled green and brown glass shards with concrete and sand to create the smoothest surface. The glass was gathered from the local wineries. The best part of the kitchen is the dum-waiter that sends all your groceries up from the garage! The open kitchen makes it easy to pass food and drinks into the great room, equipped with a large flat screen TV and music system. This is a wonderful room to entertain in or be entertained. Light up the fireplace on a cool evening and cozy up to your loved ones.
A separate dining room with pub style table and chairs, is where you can enjoy a great meal, great drink and great friends! This room opens up onto the colored concrete patio and backyard where relaxation is the main objective. Sip a cool drink under the Gazebo or take a soak in the 8-seater spa while gazing at the Sedona Sky. This home has 2 master suites and a guest room on the main floor. The master suite on the main floor is known as the "Bombay Room". The smooth solar heated concrete floors are an incredible Green and Rust color combination giving the illusion of marble. A large king size wrought iron bed with luxury bedding and flat screen TV make this a wonderful place to retreat.
There is a deep soaker tub and shower combination in this bathroom that has been designed with beautiful free flowing crushed glass that has been molded into pebble shapes, creating a soothing pattern on the walls and throughout the bathroom. The guest room sleeps 2 on a cozy double size bed. There is a sliding glass door which opens out to the patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or tea. With a separate bath and shower right next door. Head upstairs, half way up the stairwell there is a perfectly framed window with a view of Cathedral Rock.
The master suite upstairs is rich and inviting with antique marble and wood carved bed and matching night stand. This is known as the “Skyroom”, with its beautiful blue decor and matching bathroom. This is a very innovative self sustaining home that would be a wonderful retreat for any family or friends to enjoy.

Owner's Map of Sedona
My husband and I have lived in the Sedona area most of our lives. We wanted to build a Vacation Rental with some specific qualities. This home was designed with passive solar benefits in mind, the means of using sunlight without use of mechanical systems-taking advantage of the naturally occurring heating and cooling processes.

There were five of us (three adults, two older children) who stayed in this beautiful home for five days, and both the location and accommodations could not have been more perfect. This home is very well appointed and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. With the layout of the house, there was ample room for all of us to relax either together or have our own space. We discovered Crescent Moon Ranch on our first day, just about a quarter mile down the road, and enjoyed wonderful walks and picture-taking opportunities. You also have a spectacular view of Cathedral Rock right out the front window! During our stay, we took a number of day trips to Red Rock State Park, Slide Rock, Bell Rock & Courthouse Butte and ventured north to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. Shopping and dining opportunities are just minutes away as well. The owners thought ahead and have several board games, and in the evenings, our kids had fun beating the adults at Monopoly. The grown-ups enjoyed time in the hot tub soaking muscles sore from the daily hikes. We really appreciated having all the comforts of home at our fingertips. The wireless service in the house allowed us to plan our daily outings, and the washer/dryer in the home were great for running a load or two when we got a bit dusty from our hikes around the area and before we headed on to our next destination. Every aspect of the trip was fantastic, and we would welcome the opportunity to stay at this location again on a return trip to Sedona.
Owner response:As you can read the guest had said it all and it would be difficult to add to it. This house was set up to cater to the needs of someone on vacation, the proxemity to the creek, outdoor dining a nice hot spa, big screen TV, and games too, for the kids. This is your home away from home with all the comforts included. Sedona is a vacationers dream, with hiking, biking, swiming, sight seeing ,hot air balloons and great shopping..
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
