It is a wonderful condo for a girl's vacation week. The lanai was used every day with coffee in the morning to Happy hour and dinner. A short walk to the beach was convenient for us and many hours were spent there watching for dolphins and enjoying the water. We rented bikes from Billy's which were top notch cruisers and we kayaked at Dings for two hours. We will definitely rent from Lisa again who was very attentive to our needs and questions. Thank you for a wonderful week in Sanibel.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great stay in the condo. and found the owner Lisa to be very helpful as well as the condo. booking company. First the location on Sanibel is perfect. Close to many restaurants, sort car or bike ride away. The property is very well maintained with an exellent pool, three well maintained tennis courts, very short walk to the beach. Our kids spent hours upon hours searching for shells and waded in within 10 feet of a dolphin eating fish just off shore. We loved all the restaurants including the Lazy Flamingo, Island Cow, and many others on Captiva. Took a boat ride over to Cabbage key which was a highlight and dolphins swimming right off the corner of the boat. Also charter a fishing boat for 1/2 day which was another highlight and caught 35 fish in the gulf. Condo. was overall clean and well maintained with good supply of kitchen utensils and plates, etc... Great for families and would highly recommend and I'm pretty particular regarding such things. Enjoy Sanibel, one of our best spring break trips yet.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a great time we had at this condo on Sanibel Island. The condo is very large, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai which easily accomodates six. Also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. There are so many things to do in the area including riding bicycles, shopping, luncheon cruise, and just relaxing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

Stayed at this condo with my husband's family to celebrate his 40th birthday. It was wonderful!! We never once felt crowded (6 adults) inside the condo. The bedroom set-up is nice as you are not right next to each other. The condo is very well decorated and the veranda was much larger than the usual veranda at a condo. The beach here is beautiful and the sunrise was awesome!! The walk to the beach is 1-2 minutes. There were beach chairs available and the pool was another wonderful option. The condo was very clean and newly furnished. I would highly recommend this condo and Sanibel is one of my favorite vacation spots.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I had so much fun last week at Sanibel. The Sanddollar condo was wonderful. It was exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was very well-stocked for any cooking you wanted to do. We enjoyed eating on the lanai every morning- the view was lovely. We had our 3 adult children and their spouse/significant others with us so the bedroom layout was perfect! There were 4 great beach chairs in the storage area along with floats and all kinds of beach toys. Lisa was wonderful to work with- she answered all my questions and I felt very secure with my transaction. On the things to do list I would definitely go to Captiva to watch the sunset one night. We also did a kayak tour and rented bicycles from Billy's. We really enjoyed both of those outings! On our last night we all had dinner at the Island Cow- the food was delicious and the portions were huge! For a quick dinner we also enjoyed getting pizza at Island Pizza-it was really good and very near the condo. I would also highly recommend Jerry's when you need a grocery store- again it is very close and had everything we needed. I just can't recommend this condo enough- I only hope you have as much fun as we did! We can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We've been to Sanibel a few times but it had been a number of years ago... we forgot how much we love the place! We had never stayed at Sand Dollar but really liked it. The owner is very helpful with questions ahead of time and the unit was great; roomy, new living room furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. My husband and I, daughter, brother-in-law and sister-in-law never felt cramped in the condo. The view from the screened in porch is great -- if a few more inches were cut off the bushes, the view would have been even better -- but still a great view! The wallway to the beach is really nice and the pool area is small but nice. I was hoping our lottery ticket was a winner and I wouldn't have to return to work!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just finished our stay at C102 Sanddollar and had one of the best Sanibel vacations we've ever had. The unit was clean and comfortable, and the complex was wonderful- great location, beautiful pool, and awesome grilling facilities. The unit has beautiful new furniture and the owners were very nice and easy to work with. We will definitely be coming back to this condo for future Sanibel vacations!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much! We were so glad to get the chance to meet you and we are still talking about how polite and helpful your boys were during the new furniture delivery! See you next year!

My Husband and I stayed here with my elderly mother in Oct 2011, we had a wonderful and relaxing time at Sand Dollar, we brought our tandem kayak with us, there was room to store it under neath the building when we were not using it, the complex only has 34 units so it has a nice private feel about it and is beautifully landscaped , plenty of places to rinse off feet, shells our boat. The Condo was nicely appointed and the kitchen was great to cook in! We ate out on the lanai every night and watched the sunset. The owners were very helpful with supplying any info we needed. The unit is on the first floor but still elevated one level, the view is partially obstructed by palm trees but still beautiful! We would definitely come back to this unit!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
About the owner: Our family's discovery of Sanibel Island happened by chance almost 30 years ago. We have been visiting Sanibel every year since during our school vacations and now my children's vacations. My parents decided to buy a house and move here full time about 8 years ago. They also picked out (in their opinion) 8 of the best condos on the island to purchase and rent out to travelers like you who want oceanfront beautiful condos to rent in one of the most beautiful places in the world. We have now purchased Sanddollar C102 from them and plan to keep up the tradition of helping people to have the best vacation of their lives.
