We have a great hidden secret, off the main road,75 year adobe house, located on the backside of Galleri Urbane, The House of Galleri Urbane is a totally separate and private house with an oasis backyard sculpture garden, 2 full baths walk in shower and jacuzzi jet tub.

Central heat, air conditioning (window), the perfect place to find out all that Marfa has to offer, close to everything, never get in your car once you check in. 2 Bikes available for riding about town.
Turn left from San Antonio st onto Russell St, if coming east (Alpine) if coming in from El Paso Turn Right, Front Porch light is on :)
The front door is the 1st door with a galvanized planter, we will leave the porch light on.
Park anywhere along the side of the house , see guest parking signs:)

Year Purchased: 2004
My husband and I opened Galleri Urbane in 1999, we always wanted to offer a live space attached to the gallery building ( separate and private of course) featuring art work from the gallery and books about art etc. Now we have and we invite you to stay in our cozy adobe house with a private back yard designed by Robert Bellamy of Dallas, read, birdwatcher, sit by the water sculpture and or star gaze at night. The Classic Marfa Experience, in a minimal setting. Another feature we offer, If your thinking of a work of art from the gallery, someone from the gallery staff will hang it in the house for you, so you can live with it for a day and decide.:)
Why the Owner Chose Marfa
We chose Marfa number one because it is truly beautiful surroundings, almost a mile here, grasslands, mountains and the Big Bend close by. But most important because of the The Ballroom's fresh art approach offering film, music and art venues of young but established artists in all mediums and of course the anchor of the Chinati and Judd Foundation. Now Marfa has gifts shops galleries and wonderful restaurants, coffee shop ice cream parlor, trendy laundry mat. Green, Green Green in July, August, Sept- Monsoon season !
