My home just underwent a major renovation and now features 6 bedrooms and 3 beautiful full bathrooms. From entering the home you will be greeted with a river rock mudroom complete with solar tubes and a large coat closet. Upon leaving the mudroom you will begin to see the lake views trough the large alder wood cased windows throughout the living room. The living room has comfortable couches, gas fireplace, and a 42" flat screen TV. The kitchen has two ovens, gas stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, and settings for 10. There is also a breakfast bar that divides the kitchen to the dining area with a table to seat 8-10 people with the breakfast bar that could seat 3 more.
The master bedroom is upstairs and the highlight of the house which features a king size bed a lounge area with a cozy couch to enjoy the lake views or just escape to watch TV while the gas fireplace keeps it nice and cozy. The master bathroom has a large tub with a gas fireplace at one end. Or you will also enjoy the huge shower with body jets, 8" rain shower head, and two other wall mounted shower heads. The Bear room is upstairs and has a queen size bed and decorated with an outdoor feeling. The other bedroom upstairs features a queen size bed. The office/game room is the last bedroom upstairs with a double sized bed. There is also a large full bathroom with two sink basins. Downstairs has two bedrooms and another full bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds.
The backyard features a wrap around cement patio with outdoor table seating, gas BBQ, and a place to sit back relax and enjoy the views. We also have a hot tub to relax in after a long day on the slopes. Reagan Beach is only open in the summer and has a sand volleyball court, kid’s playground, and a snack bar. In the winter people cross country ski down on the beach when the water is low. It's also a great viewing area for the fireworks on the 4th of July and other holiday's the city provides firework shows over the lake.

Why the Owner Chose Al Tahoe
The Al Tahoe neighborhood is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe. You have Reagan Beach out your back door and El Dorado Beach is down the street with a boat launch (water depth dependent) Also by El Dorado Beach you can rent waverunners, kayaks, bikes, and other toys. Many local hotspot restaurants are located on Harrison Ave at the end of Lakeview Ave. The casino's and Heavenly are about a 5 minute drive.
The Unique Benefits at this House
You will love this location! The views of the lake are amazing, along with the sunsets over Mt. Tallac. It's also a great place to view the fireworks on July 4th and other holiday's they decide to shoot off fireworks over the lake. Reagan Beach is out your back door and El Dorado Beach is just down the street... Hidden Beach is the locals neighborhood beach. You can find it at the end of Lilly by heading west on Lakeview Ave towards the end you turn left on Belleview Ave and then right on Lilly, from there you have to walk through the meadow to the beach.
Sprout is a great healthy restaurant and Rude Brothers serves coffee and bagels along with other delicious items.

Hi, This home has been in the family for 30+ years. I grew up in this home. I always enjoyed the beach right out the back. Down at Reagan Beach you will find a volleyball court, kids playground, large grassy field, and a seasonal snack shack. Over the years it has seen many remodeling projects. We recently completed a major remodel adding about 1,000 sf and 2 more bedrooms. The Master bedroom was also completely redesigned with a massive bath room.

We have all been going for eight years now for the March of Dimes Sno Ball tournament and have stayed at various cabins. We all agree, this was by far the best experience we have had due to accommodations. We have decided this is where we will stay every year. Home was completely stocked with all that you need, view is spectacular, very clean, beds comfortable and home overall beautiful. Thank You!

We came in the winter with a large group of skiiers and non-skiiers, and everyone had a great time. The lake views from the house and the hot tub would be simply wonderful at any time of year. The house is right on the lake with lots of nice walking, playground, etc nearby. The master bedroom is spectacular. The photos probably didn't do the house justice - we were pleasantly surprised. It is in a quiet area off the main road so you will need a car, but it is only a short drive to everything (stores/ski field/casino).

The place is big and very comfortable. VERY close to the California lodge. If you go a bit further to the Stagecoach base, you get better skiing conditions. This place is also close to grocery stores, starbucks, ski rental, and casino area. Awesome owner to rent from.

Fantastic home lots of room for our party of 12. Beautiful master suite with an amazing ultra shower. Wonderful sunsets from the master bedroom, living room and dining room. Gourmet kitchen which our chef called a delight to work in. We plan to make this an annual event. Skiing was good but the weather was even better. We enjoyed the delightful hot tub with numerous relaxing jets. The beds are set up for comfort with feather beds and down blankets. I felt like I was in a European hotel. The cleanliness of such a large house was commendable. I can see the pride the owner takes in offering this beautiful home for us to enjoy. Thank you we will be back. I can see a wedding on the front lawn with the lake in the background.

What an amazing house! We had our girls weekend at the Lake House at the end of July, and by our last day everyone was fighting over which holidays they were going to book the house for their families. It was wonderful for a girls' getaway, but I would also highly recommend this house for families with children--not only is it kid-friendly, there are a TON of activities just minutes away. First of all, before we arrived I was a little weary because I knew the previous people had only checked out three hours ago and I wondered if that large house would be clean by our check in time--It was absolutely immaculate! It looked like the cleaning crew had spent a whole day in there. We were all amazed at the house itself and the view! The pictures on this site really don't do it justice. The house was also very well stocked with towels, dishes, and glassware. The BBQ worked great, the jacuzzi was clean, and the beds were very comfortable (ESPECIALLY the bed in the master bedroom, which is where you should sleep if you book this place). The owner was also very helpful in sending us directions to the place and letting us know how to get in. When we arrived there was a list of very clear instructions, no-nonsense and very low maintenance. He also returned our deposit in a very timely manner, and overall we were very satisfied. We had planned all these outdoor activities, but ended up staying most of the time at the house, and I agree with a previous reviewer in saying that a weekend is not enough to truly enjoy what this house has to offer. We will all be returning to the Lake House.

My family loved staying at this vacation home! It had everything we wanted...lots of bedrooms & bathrooms, spacious living area and kitchen, family friendly yard with a spa, and a spectacular lake front view. We also loved having the park so close ...the kids were able to walk down there and play on the swings while the adults enjoyed playing volleyball. We will definitely revisit this home in the future!

We had a chance to spend a weekend with friends and family and it was a great vacation rental. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities in the house were awesome. Just felt at home and was very comfortable.

We truly enjoyed our family vacation at Lake Tahoe. And a big part of that is because of the vacation house! The home has been completely updated and boasts 6 bedrooms, so everyone had their own spot to unpack, relax and sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and we were able to prepare our family breakfasts and dinner. The best feature of the home was the backyard. The kids loved the hot tub and we played several games in the backyard. We also spent some evenings directly across the street at Reagan Beach and the local park. The location was great. We were minutes from water sports, boat rentals and Heavenly Gondola rides - all of which we enjoyed during the vacation. We would definitely recommend this home for family vacations!
