My home just underwent a major renovation and now features 6 bedrooms and 3 beautiful full bathrooms. From entering the home you will be greeted with a river rock mudroom complete with solar tubes and a large coat closet. Upon leaving the mudroom you will begin to see the lake views trough the large alder wood cased windows throughout the living room. The living room has comfortable couches, gas fireplace, and a 42' flat screen TV. The kitchen has two ovens, gas stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, and settings for 10. There is also a breakfast bar that divides the kitchen to the dining area with a table to seat 8-10 people with the breakfast bar that could seat 3 more.
The master bedroom is upstairs and the highlight of the house which features a king size bed a lounge area with a cozy couch to enjoy the lake views or just escape to watch TV while the gas fireplace keeps it nice and cozy. The master bathroom has a large tub with a gas fireplace at one end. Or you will also enjoy the huge shower with body jets, 8' rain shower head, and two other wall mounted shower heads. The Bear room is upstairs and has a queen size bed and decorated with an outdoor feeling. The other bedroom upstairs features a queen size bed. The office/game room is the last bedroom upstairs with a double sized bed. There is also a large full bathroom with two sink basins. Downstairs has two bedrooms and another full bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds.
The backyard features a wrap around cement patio with outdoor table seating, gas BBQ, and a place to sit back relax and enjoy the views. We also have a hot tub to relax in after a long day on the slopes. Reagan Beach is only open in the summer and has a sand volleyball court, kid’s playground, and a snack bar. In the winter people cross country ski down on the beach when the water is low. It's also a great viewing area for the fireworks on the 4th of July and other holiday's the city provides firework shows over the lake.
El Dorado Beach (Lakeview Commons Beach) is just down the street which is home to the free summer concert series.
Every Thursday starting June 28 through Sept. 6 from 4-8:30pm a different band will perform on a temporary stage that will be built in the sand. Spectators can sit – for free – on the terraced area or up top where there are picnic tables. Beer garden, food vendors and local artists.

Lovely spacious home with great views. Very well equipped with more equipment than advertised and a good supply of indoor and outdoor games available. The provided Kayaks were a great addition to the other close by entertainment options. Shopping, restaurants and water craft rentals etc. are all close by. All bedrooms are a good size with the washer and dryer in a separate closet in the entry hall (rather than in a bedroom, as had been mentioned in a previous review), Master bedroom is as described and very nice with a great shower. Parking is a little restricted but was adequate for our party, four vehicles would be quite tight. We all had a very enjoyable stay and I would certainly consider this property for future visits to the Lake and would happily recommend it to friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This home is amazing and everything described and shown in the photos are exact. In fact I don't think the photos do the view/home justice...Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Great location with amazing views from every window facing the lake; even prepping food and washing dishes was actually relaxing. Can't wait to come stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The cabin is about 4 minute driving distance to the csinos... has an AMAZING view to the lake. Great location!!... Pictures of rooms are exact... master Bedroom is incredible... Accomodated 12 people perfect... We had a few questions for the owner over the weekend and he nicely answered. It was a fabulous stay- really enjoyed!...Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This is the second time for our group to stay here during the Tour de Tahoe bike ride. We are a group of 4 couples who love this home for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, gorgeous lake views and proximity to shops, restaurants, activities and nightlife. This has it all! We love cooking some dinners in, leisurely breakfasts and having the option to go out. Take a short walk to Rude Brothers Bagels in the morning for fresh piping hot bagels, eat dinner at Latin Soul, and go for lots of hikes, bike rides and kayaking. Even though it's a bit of a drive, the Sand Harbor beach has a gorgeous setting for kayaking and beach going. Thanks for another memorable stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My girlfriends and I were looking for a nice relaxing place to stay to catch up and reminisce on old times. This cabin had everything we were looking for and the entire weekend was a blast. As soon as we arrived, the cabin was clean and the carpet was so soft to walk on (instant comfort)! I was lucky to get to stay in the master bedroom, and it was amazing! The shower is huge and there is lots of space to get ready. We loved the view of the lake and being so close to the water. I think this place is great for all kinds of travelers, from all adults, to a mix of kids and adults. We were a few short miles away from casinos, and the weekend could not have been better. This home is beautiful and plenty of space for 12 people! The master bedroom is amazing!! The park is right below the home and our kids had a blast playing out on the grass and on the swings at the park. The home was very clean and having 6 bedrooms was great for our group. We celebrated my mom's 50th birthday at this house and it was perfect. The house is spacious, clean, furnished nicely, and the kitchen is well stocked (coffee pot, food processor, blender, bread maker, pots, pans, serving dishes...everything). The backyard is more lovely than the pictures convey. One of our guests canceled at the last minute, which turned out to be a good thing because the 6th room is a bit small, and houses the washer/dryer. If you wanted to split the rental price up amongst a group of people, you might want to charge less for this room or put the kids in there. We truly had a great time at this house. Pros: 1) Great location 2) Awesome views of Lake Tahoe 2) Everything seemed to be updated recently. Cons: 1) My friends chose this place specifically because of the hot tub facing the lake. However, after spending over an hour trying to get the hot tub to work, the property manager came to inspect and informed us that the hot tub was indeed not working. 2) When we arrived, there was a long trail of ants in the kitchen. They didn't come back after we wiped them off the counter, but this was not the best first impression.Owner response: I wish you had notified the manager upon check in at 1pm that there was an issue with the hot tub. At this time we could have had the hot tub company come out. Sat afternoon was too late to get someone. Instrument panels can malfunction. I am glad the ant problem was remedied after whipping up the trail. That means the cleanliness was not an issue. Remember this is a mountain/ forest community where critters do reside. I am sorry the refund did not meet with your approval.

About: Hi, This home has been in the family for 30+ years. I grew up in this home. I always enjoyed the beach right out the back. Down at Reagan Beach you will find a volleyball court, kids playground, large grassy field, and a seasonal snack shack. Over the years it has seen many remodeling projects. We recently completed a major remodel adding about 1,000 sf and 2 more bedrooms. The Master bedroom was also completely redesigned with a massive bath room.
Why Al Tahoe:
The Al Tahoe neighborhood is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe. You have Regan Beach out your back door and the newly remodeled El Dorado Beach home to the free summer concert series is down the street along with a boat launch (water depth dependent) Also by El Dorado Beach ( Lakeview Commons) you can rent waverunners, kayaks, bikes, and other toys. Many local hotspot restaurants are located on Harrison Ave at the end of Lakeview Ave. The casino's and Heavenly are about a 5 minute drive.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
You will love this location! The views of the lake are amazing, along with the sunsets over Mt. Tallac. It's also a great place to view the fireworks on July 4th and other holiday's they decide to shoot off fireworks over the lake. Reagan Beach is out your back door and El Dorado Beach (Lakeview Commons) is just down the street... Hidden Beach is the locals neighborhood beach. You can find it at the end of Lilly by heading west on Lakeview Ave towards the end you turn left on Belleview Ave and then right on Lilly, from there you have to walk through the meadow to the beach.
