An architect designed this custom built, beautiful 5 bedroom lakehouse- perfect for a get away with friends. The main floor consists of an master bedroom and bath, a half bath, and a spacious greatroom with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Upstairs there is a loft over looking the living area, a bedroom with a double bed, a shared full bath and a second upstairs bedroom with a set of twin beds.
The lower level consists of a second living area with a TV and children's pool/game table, and two bedrooms complete with 3 sets of bunk beds in each bedroom. A deck spans the entire back of the home. An outside bar/gazebo area and hot tub make the perfect setting for a relaxing evening.
The home also has a two car garage. An adjacent path leads you on a 10 minute hike down to the water. The home is fully furnished and the kitchen comes complete with a warming drawer, ice maker and plenty of dishes to feed a crowd.

We took our youth there for a small retreat and also our women's group went for a night. Everything was wonderful! Such a nice place and so much room. You can't go wrong if you stay here. Lots of good memories made.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Great home.... But, owner a little unresponsive and not forthcoming with accurate information. The first 4 days of our visit the air conditioning in the upstairs was not working. There is mold in the basement due to improper drainage of the HVAC units. Prior to booking this rental, I specifically asked about the "10 minute walk" to the lake. It may be 10 minutes down, but it is a good 20 back up and there is no beach... A few other things you need to know if you are unfamiliar with the area, as I was... 1) The rental is located very near the time zone line, so if you are in one part of the home, you may be an hour ahead or an hour behind the others. Also, when planning excursions, be sure to note whether the hours of operation are central or eastern time zone. 2) This rental is located in a 'dry' county. The nearest county to purchase adult beverages is 45 miles away. 3) There are very few straight roads in Kentucky, so your 45 mile trip will take you 90 minutes.
Recommended for:Sightseeing.

This home was beautiful and the extras were very nice. Lots of space, we really enjoyed the Great room and the extra large dining table. The deck is amazing, lots of areas to hang out in. The basement was perfect for the kids. The drive to the dock was a little long and a pool would've put it over the top but it was really a very nice vacation spot. Would definetely go again!!
