My two girlfriends and I just spent a glorious four days at this beach house and fell in love with the house and the island. If you want solitude, peace, and blissful days and nights on the beach, then look no further! The house is comfortable, well equiped, and spacious - only steps from the ocean. We saw dolphins and bald eagles on our daily walks. If you want to get close to civilization, Beaufort is a short drive away with plenty of retail therapy and good restaurant available. This is the place to get away from it all, the exact opposite from the Myrtle Beaches of the world. I highly recommend this rental, and we will be back in 2014!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our second visit to the cabin and it was even better than the first time. The house had been redecorated and the new screened in porch was wonderful . The house was spotless and very well stocked with what ever you may need. The beach is spellbinding, very private and clean. It is evreything the listing says and more. If you choose to leave the beach there are great places to eat and visit reasonable close. The owners were very friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the splendor of this little piece of paradise.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

For one glorious week we lived on the screened in porch. Never used the dining rm or tv- just catnapped our days away on that great porch. This rental is exactly what you read in the description and see in the pictures. Very secluded, very clean and tidy, a super stocked kitchen, and nicely decorated. (The nice pale ocean grey/green interior looks blue in the pics). Miles of beach to walk, good bird watching, saw dolphins and lots of pelicans, 2 fox, and several raccoons. The island is beautiful with lots of trails, a great pier and nature center. Go to Boondocks for great shrimp burgers, and Barefoot Farms for their fresh veggies. The people at Bubbas gift shop are super friendly. The week went by way too fast!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

Hunting Island has always been a paradise (we've been going there to a family cabin since 1986), but now it really is vanishing. This beautiful property is away from the area that has suffered erosion, and faces on a white sand, unspoiled beach, inhabited by pelicans, the occasional beach walker--and us! Absolute privacy--no other houses can be seen from this one--and a serenity hard to find in today's world. The house is even better than it sounds. It's very attractive, charming, comfortable, and the best-equipped vacation house we've ever had (and we've rented vacation homes in both the U.S. and Europe. We always bring a few things with us that we really want and suspect may not be in the house. Everything we brought was already there, e.g., we brought a corkscrew and there were TWO in the house. Having linens supplied was a real plus, as they now cost a fortune to bring on a plane. The screened porch was another big plus--you can sit outside free of insects, and you can sit outside and admire the beach in the rain. There's also lots to do--swimming, beach walking, surf fishing, deep sea fishing, kite flying, exploring Beaufort and its charming stores, and Savannah and Charleston are an easy day's visit away. Or just relax on the beach. We can't wait to go back, and our family from the UK, who joined us there, are already trying to figure out how soon they can come back. Recommended without reservation--definitely 5 stars.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed in Paradice the first week of Novemeber. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped (we ate in most days!) Watching the sunrise with dolphins splashing and the star gazing was truly inspiring. The privacy allowed for such a peaceful trip. Who could ask for more? You can tell that these owners take pride in their home by the sea and I for one am so happy that they are willing to share it. beckyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

My fiancee rented this cabin to propose and celebrate with close friends and family....It's a great place to host a party or just settle in with a loved one! Location, Location, Location! You are right on the beach with full privacy, other than the occassional seagull or dolphin passing by! The cabin is a perfect mixture of beach and shabby chic and CLEAN! We were out on the deck for sunrise and sunset. Seconds to some of the best bike trails around, or cross the street from the cabin to launch your kayak in the water or take a run around the lagoon. This place is amazing!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6

Wonderful beach house in an unbelievable location! Hard to believe such privacy is possible. Nearly a half mile of beach with no other cabin or access. Wake up in master bedroom to the sound and sight of the breakers. Star-gazing on the deck is astonishing. Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable inside. Lovely Beaufort still only 20 minutes away. A perfect vacation retreat!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/4
