Why the Owner Chose Portland
I grew up in Portland and areas around the Northwest and think it's a wonderful place to visit and show your kids. We bought this home for us and others to enjoy. The neighborhood is kid friendly, dog friendly and people friendly. It is very close to downtown, but far enough away to enjoy suburban living at it's finest. There are many parks, rec centers and nearby attractions for all ages to enjoy. Our favorites are the zoo, the rec centers that have classes, tennis, indoor pool and skateboard/dog park.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I really enjoy the outdoor living area. It is a natural extension of the house and very livable. In the summer the backyard is great for hanging out and having a relaxing day in the sunshine. We have many different chairs and loungers in the back so that there is room for kids and adults alike. Also a favorite are the choice of a gas fireplace in the living room or a wood fireplace in the family room inside. Such nice ambiance and warmth for the chilly winter months.
