  We spent a wonderful time in New York, also because we were staying at this great apartment. The location was perfect, it's spacious, clean and has a good vibe. Also the owners were very nice and helpful in any way. We'll come back again for sure. Thank you

  Great location, surrounded by nice restaurants and grocery stores. I stayed there for christmas with my wife and two kids and we had a wonderful experience. I fully recommend this place.

  I'd just echo everything that's been said before, this is a really nice one-room apartment with a double-bed, two sofa beds, and kitchen with breakfast bar. We stayed for two weeks in August and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The neighbourhood is terrific, vibrant, and really comes alive in the evenings. And yet, because the apartment is at the back of the building, it is surprisingly quiet! Thanks Maria, hope to stay again one day.

  I've stayed in Maria's flat in October - November 2010 for 7 days with my husband. We both loved the place which were exactly as per the picture. New York is just fantastic and after a long day visiting we were glad to come back to the flat and have a good night sleep. There is a very good place nearby to have amazing brunch (Clinton Street Bakery) - pancakes are just great there. Maria is very friendly, replies to her emails very quickly and is very helpful. It was the first time I used Homeaway.

  Perfect for a visit to the Big Apple. Centrally located in a relaxed part of the city. Apartment was clean and well presented. The beds were a little uncomfortable... but then I'm spoilt at home. Maria was very easy to deal with - we arrived very late in the evening and it wasn't a problem at all. The Argentinian restaurant downstairs was an added bonus - best steak I've had anywhere. If you want to stay in a vibrant part of the city this is a great option.

  The perfect place for a Honeymoon. Cozzy, charming, comfortable, excellent décor . Just a gem in the East Village. We will definitely come back in our next trip to NY. Maria and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly Recommended

  Great location for these beautiful apartments in the heart of East Village.Many amazing places all around and close to subway and bus. The apartment has all what you need. The decor is modern and charmong. I highly recommend it for people who needs tranquility and independence in the middle of the best part of Manhattan.Very goods vibes .I'll come back for sure

  We loved staying in this apartment, very comfortable and a great location, away from the more touristy areas of Manhattan. The only thing that could have been useful would have been a few bits of info about how to work various things in the apartment and a bit of neighbourhood info. Also a kettle would be good! But overall loved it, wish I could live in it!! Thanks!

  My wife and I had a great time at this place and we'll definitely rent it again the next time we're in NYC. It is exactly as described, the pictures show the apartment true to life and it presents as very clean. Maria was great. Everything ran like clockwork and the deposit was refunded via Paypal as described. The apartment is located on the first floor up one flight of stairs. The area where it's located is full of restaurants and bars and is close to the subway and lots of attractions. There's a nice place to jog at the end of the street down on East River if you're into exercise. The apartment is a little on the noisy side when the bars close and siren's can be heard quite often but hey you're in New York and that's part of it - so enjoy it!! One tip I have is to turn off the boiler (red switch) before going to bed and then back on in the morning otherwise you'll be awaked by the gas boiler when it kicks in like we were (until I worked out how to switch it off). Water is still hot in the morning by the way!! The bed is quite soft but you get used to it. WiFi and sat TV all worked perfectly as did the coffee machine. We didn't use the kitchen to cook but it all looked in perfect working order. Fridge kept our breakfast and beers cold which we purchased about 1 minute walk away at the local store. Bathroom and toilet were clean and worked fine. To sum up we thought this place was good value for money and located in a great neighbourhood with plenty of things close by to see and do. Amazing choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We'd definitely rent it again!

  El apartamento esta en perfecto estado como se muestra en las fotos,nosotros eramos 4 personas viajamos durante una semana en el mes de octubre y todo muy bien, muy comodo, limpio, no le falta de nada. La localizacion es perfecta esta en un barrio que tiene mucha vida tanto de noche como de dia, muchisimos restaurantes, pubs y supermercados que abren 24 horas. Cerca del apartamento hay una parada de metro desde alli os podreis mover por toda Manhattan sin ningun problema. Los dueños son encantadores y justo debajo tienen un restaurante, si teneis algun problema os lo solucionan en seguida por cierto se come muy muy bien. Se lo aconsejo a todo el mundo tanto parejas como a una familia. Yo solo espero poder volver pronto porque la verdad es que Nueva York es fantastico.
