Exactly What We Wanted!

We had a great stay for a quick Fall getaway weekend. My husband and I are familiar with Cape May, and knew this location was not in the middle of the real "touristy" areas, but in a quiet residential area slightly out of town that is still close enough to everything we like to do. We always prefer being self-sufficient on vacation (neither of us is the "B&B" type; can't think of anything worse to do on vacation than get up for breakfast with strangers!). This apartment was just right for us - spacious rooms with a cozy feeling; a compact but fully equipped kitchen; very comfortable bed; and lots of quiet and privacy. Linens, internet and cable TV were provided, along with beach tags, bikes and bike locks, and everything was spotless. We used the available bikes to get around - into the center of Cape May, out to Cape May Point - and hardly needed to move our car the entire weekend! For people like us who enjoy walking and biking it's ideal as there there are several good restaurants, coffee shops and a farm market within about a mile or so. The owner was a delightful and very accessible host, and really seems to enjoy making her guests welcome; it shows in the homey atmosphere. She even encouraged us to pick some of her late season tomatoes (which were wonderful!) for our dinner salad. I would recommend to friends, and would definitely consider a return visit.

Our vacation was great. We visited from Germany and needed an apartment, there everything is there. It was!! Kitchen equipment, books, games, dvds, bikes, beach tags, beach towels, chairs for the beach - everything you need. The neighborhood was quiet. Chris was great. Full recommendation, for everything who looks for a nice apartment to stay. Thank you Chris!

Wonderful Vacation Get Away!

We had a wonderful stay at the Isenhart house! The apartment is charming, very clean and spacious. A full kitchen and private deck were a great plus. We appreciated all the little extras, board games, books, Disney DVDs, beach tags, beach chairs, cooler, grill. Our children loved swimming in the above ground pool and bouncing on the trampoline. What makes this place so special is the wonderful and friendly owner! She was helpful in every way and so accommodating. She gave us many great suggestions of things to do, places to eat in Cape May and ways to make our vacation more enjoyable. A memorable vacation and we’ll be sure to go back!

My husband and I stayed two weeks in July/August 2011 at this lovely apartment . Everything was perfection. The furniture and layout is excellent. Everything you could possibly need is there. Better than any "condo" where there's that commercial feel PLUS, you are even provided with sheets & towels and much more.The people we met from the neighborhood were so nice and full of information. I have stayed in the Cape May area for vacations for at least 20 years. This was the first time we stayed in West Cape May. Now, I will stay no where else. The deck and pool in backyard were quite nice and I think I read 11 books in 2 weeks.....it was serenity squared! I highly recommend this for a vacation retreat any time of the year. The bed is more comfortable than the bed I have at home. The furniture is COMFORTABLE and not seashore smelly. It's decorated perfectly. I'm afraid if I say any more good things about this place, I might not be able to get a week for next summer....that's how great this place is.

We had such a great time in Cape May thanks to this wonderful apartment stay. Shout out to Chris and Family for making us feel so at 'home'. The apartment has all the amenities we would ever need. Cook in, no problem, plates/utensils, etc were provided. Eat out, but where?..... Chris was so wonderful to write down some wonderful recommendations. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, the rooms spacious and the bed was so comfy! VERY family/children friendly. We spent time in the above ground pool and the water was always super clean and just steps away from our deck. Loved it!!

Perfect Vacation

We had so much fun at Chris' house in Cape May. The apartment is so pretty and comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms are very spacious and we had everything we needed, including linens, beach and bath towels. My boys loved the backyard with a pool and trampoline. We could ride bikes to the beach and lighthouse. Chris was so nice and my kids loved her! Cape May is a great beach. I could go on and on about how much we loved everything! I definitley recommend this apartment.

Perfect weekend get-a-way location

My husband and I were going to a wedding in Cape May. We didn't want to spend our short weekend away in a cramped and overpriced hotel room. After doing some research on VRBO we decided to stay here. We were pleasantly surprised to see just how spacious this apartment was (the pictures definitely do not do this place justice). The apartment was beautifully decorated and every essential that you could possible think of was available. Chris was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The apartment was a short drive away from Beach Ave. and close to the Point (bikes were available, but we did not use them). We had a lovely weekend and hope to return soon!

The owner and her family were gracious and most helpful. The description was accurate but the photos do not do it justice. The apartment was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and included many ammenities (bikes, shared pool, private deck, beach pass, beach chairs, internet, dvd, family games, condiments, salad dressings and even a hair dryer). This place beats any bed and breakfast even if the B&B is sitting on the beach.My niece and I had an absolute blast.We are looking forward to returning for a girls week-end.
