Why the Owner Chose Jamaica
The house is close to Stratton Mountain, which offers great skiing and many restaurants. It is also on six acres offering a very private setting.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Property has a large fireplace that is perfect after a long day on the slopes. Home is on 6 acres, so it is very private. I enjoy hiking on the West River Trail that is across the street from the house in the Ball Mountain State Park.

Adorable log cabin, clean and well maintained. Close to Stratton- Enjoyed a wonderful hike in the nearby Townhend Lake area, Single track- moderate difficulty- Wish I had my mountain bike. Inclement weather, but the house has cable and DVD, and the wonderful cozy fireplace kept us toasty and content. If I return to this area I will definitely try to stay here again. Loved the sound of the stream just slightly away from the house. The roads nearby would have been great for road biking too. Cute little country store with nearly everything you'd need EVEN Gluten Free products at the base of the road to Stratton. YAY!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This cabin was exactly what we wanted for our vacation to VT to see the fall foilage. Just the right amount of amenities for our family at a great price. We loved the giant fire place and the comfy couch. It was fun to go explore the property in the woods and discover a picnic area. The house is so close to Jamaica State Park with lots of hiking options! Jim was so easy to work with and was very accomodating, we highly recommend this wonderful getaway. Thank you!
