Quaint and private house

We had 8 of us staying at this quaint home very comfortably. We were close to shopping and restaurants, yet very private and quiet. The deck is very pleasant. This was our first stay in Chatham; what a beautiful area with lots of great restaurants to choose from! Oyster Pond Beach was great for our kids. If the parking lot is full, just park at the public parking lot - it's free and just a stone's throw to the beach. Would love to visit this area again. Thanks Tony for a great place to stay!!

Adorable Cape House

Guest: Arlington (Arlington)
Date of Stay: 06/24/11 Review Submitted: 07/17/11

I stayed at this lovely rental for a weekend in June with a group of friends in town for a wedding. Although the house is listed as rented by the week, the owner was willing to allow us to use the home for the weekend. We appreciated this greatly and it made the trip affordable. The house was well decorated with a fully-stocked kitchen and couldn't have been more convenient for us. The location is right next to a running/biking trail, and less than a mile walk from a food market. It's only a short distance further to Main Street in Chatham. The pictures of this house don't quite do it justice, since they were taken before the house was decorated. It was a nice surprise when we arrived. The four bedrooms were all quite large and linens were provided and labeled to help identify the size of the sheets. It was a nice experience staying in this home, and the owner even allowed us to bring our dogs with us from Boston with a small additional fee. We felt like we had a home away from home. The only drawbacks we found were that paper goods like toilet paper and paper towels were not provided so we had to make a quick trip to the store before getting settled, the dishwasher had not been run by the renters or the property manager before we arrived, and we did not have enough clean towels for the number of guests staying in the home. Most of these inconveniences were minor because we had thought to bring beach towels that we used instead and we needed to go to the store anyway. Other than that, it was a nice little retreat and we spent plenty of time on the back deck enjoying the lovely weather. Thanks again for everything Tony!

Tony has thought of everything in this great house. We came to the Cape for our son's wedding and we did not know our way around very well. Tony's info was very helpful. Location is key...the bike trails are right outside the door and for us walkers with young ones, it is a safe way to walk to town...(Chatham Bakery and pizza were only a few minutes walk...!) So parking in town was not a necessity...We enjoyed a very nice week and really were grateful for the wonderful bedding...it is such a delight to get a good nights sleep in vacation rentals... The beaches were convenient as well . We enjoyed the beach at Oyster Pond in town for the younger ones...All in all, a very enjoyable week.

Nice place for good price

Guest: ndalal111 (Natick, MA)

This place has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which are clean and nice to live-in. One room is smaller than the 3 because it seems to be an office converted to a bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. All rooms have individual AC other than the smallest bedroom. Has a decent size yard however not maintained. Beaches and attractions are close by. Chatham is a nice town to visit which is within 1 mile. Perfect for 3 families with kids or 4 couples with no kids. Owner (Chandler) is nice and helpful. It has the option for renting the weekend only.
