This is by no means a Cabin as you would picture in your head when cabin comes to mind... But a Gorgeous Post & Beam Home with all amenities available from the Big Screen TV to Marble Countertops. The Appliances are new stainless steel... No expense was spared as I slept better in a bed that was more comfortable than my tempupedic at home. Extremely comfortable well laid out and Wifi Hotspot as I was able to sell products and respond to buyers online. I would highly Reccomend this Luxury cabin which is extremely reasonable in cost especially if more than one family splits the tab. We snowmobiled and had an amazing adventure since the trail system is mapped and marked but regardless of Winter or summer 4 wheeling and Flyfishing this cabin is a must stay while in Island Park. You will not regret it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin! It added so much to our family vacation, especially with little ones. Everything was top notch and more than expected. We rented Sea Doos and enjoyed Island Park Reservoir, especially the private boat dock; visited Big Springs and Sawtell Peak on rented ATVs; spent a day in Yellowstone, visiting the Old Faithful area, swimming in the Fire Hole river; and taking in a play (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) at West Yellowstone. We also floated the Henry’s Fork River, visited Upper Mesa Falls and Yellowstone Bear World in Rexburg. So after very exhausting days, it was nice to climb in the very comfortable beds and have the conveniences of an amazing kitchen and common areas and other wonderful amenities. It easily accommodated our 10 adults, 7 children and a 1 year old. I highly recommend renting this place from Craig and Julia—who were very exceptional to work with (and have incredible great taste in the design, construction and furnishing of their lovely cabin!)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful property that was clean and well maintained. The area is spectacular with so many available activities from Yellowstone NP to river rafting and fishing. The property is within walking distance to the reservoir which is suitable for boating, water skiing, swimming etc. The listing was accurate and the owners were very responsive to questions and requests for additional information. It was a perfect place for our family reunion! Check in and check out procedures were very clear. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property for our vacation this year and it was wonderful! We had 14 people and we were all able to stay in beds, and they were very comfortable! We had plenty of room for everyone and everything inside of the cabin was new and clean - it was great! The teenagers we had with us just loved the Baby Bears Den, it was as nice as the cabin. We really enjoyed the open area, the hot tub and the fire pit in the evenings! Craig was great to work with too! We spent time in Yellowstone and we also went to the play at Macs Inn - we had a great time! We would definitely consider staying here again! This property is awesome!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The listing reflected the rental's appearance and amenities and was clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated and pleasant. I just wish we would have had more down time to enjoy the amenities the owners provided. There was plenty to do. The group appreciated that the jacuzzi was clean, perfect water temperature, in good operating condition and a nice size for several adults. I especially enjoyed it after a long day ride on the motorcycle. The beds were the most comfortable I think I have ever been in--even my own bed! The owners were great to work with and very helpful. This is a great place for a family reunion. Plenty of room to spread out, inside and out. The only downside to it was, for motorcyclists, it was 8 miles from the main road and 4 miles was gravel and dirt. We did so much riding that a location closer to where we were riding would have been better for us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at this beautiful property. We had five families staying here, and had plenty of room. The house is beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. There is anything you could possibly need for cooking. Also, we loved the campfire area. This was a hit for the children. It was so nice to be so close to West Yellowstone. The drive to Yellowstone was beautiful. It was also nice to have fishing, horseback riding and beautiful views right at the house. One of the families rented canoes, and saw a moose while canoeing down the river. We had a great time, and found ourselves sad to leave after a week. We wished we had planned our stay here for longer. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. The quiet area was amazing. This is the best vacation we have ever had!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a beautiful retreat! This was perfect for our large group and the kids loved the open space to run and play freely! Rented jet skis and enjoyed the lake that was just a quick walk from the cabin. We WILL be back! We had a wonderful time spending the week at Papa Bears Cave and Baby Bears Den in Island Park. It was a great opportunity for the cousins to spend time with one another. There was enough room for our familyof 4 and my husbands' two brothers with their families and my husbands' parents. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was nice each evening and we enjoyed using the fire pit to make marshmallows and smores. Everything was very clean and well kept. It was a great place for my husband and I to go on our runs on the dirt roads. We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the area. We were able to travel easily to Yellowstone and Tetons from this location. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Yellowstone and about 2 hours to get to the Tetons, but the drives were very scenic and enjoyable. There were several nice hiking areas nearby and places to fish. We also enjoyed white water rafting, horseback riding, and off roading in a rented ATV. The owner is very helpful in providing information about the house and the area. I would definitely recommend this house and this owner!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Craig is exceptional. I was responsible for setting up my family reunion with my siblings and parents and was thrilled to find Papa Bear's Cabin. I contacted Craig and he was quick to respond and answered all of my questions about the property and it was a perfect fit. We communicated a few more times and he was prompt in his responses and gave some suggestions about places to go in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, less than a week before we were scheduled to arrive at the cabin, my nephew died and our entire plans changed. I contacted Craig and told him about our situation and that we would all be going to Nevada for the funeral and would be unable to keep our commitment. He was so gracious and understanding and offered us to reschedule or receive a refund. I can not express how grateful we are to Craig and were surprised at how accommodating he was. His response was "Well, it's the right thing to do!" It is great to know there are still such amazing people in the world today. I would recommend this property to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Spent a long weekend with family at Yellowstone (a group of 20!) and stayed at Papa Bears Cave & Baby Bears Den in June of 2011. It was everything we needed and more! The house was beautiful, had all the amenities we needed and was a close drive (30 mins) to the West entrance of Yellowstone. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and they loved roasting marshmallows in the firepit! The owners were so helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

What an amazing Cabin! We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend 2011. The property is absolutely beautiful. It is very clean and maintained extremely well. That was really important to us. The kitchen is beautiful with top notch appliances. The family room is very comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The Baby Bears Den is an added bonus! It is just as amazing as the main cabin! Island Park and the surrounding area is amazing! Not too far from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The owner was always very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again! We had a great time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property in the summer of 2010. It was so much fun to stay here. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the lake is just a short walk from the house. Its like having a wonderful outdoor vacation with all the comforts you could ask for. The cabin has every convenience. The kitchen in this cabin is just amazing and all the appliances are top notch. The two story family room with a fireplace is so relaxing and the hot tub on the back deck is a blast. Everything was exactly as described and the cabin is even better than the photos show. We would highly recommend this property and we can't wait to come back and stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent three days in March at the Papa Bears Cave. There were seven of us with more than enough room to spare. We found the cabin very clean and nicely furnished. Some of our party spent time skiing at Big Sky Montana while others remained at the cabin. Those who stayed behind found the place so comfortable they chose not to leave. We prepared our own morning and evening meals and found the kitchen furnished with all the needed utensils. The exposed beam architecture is great with lots of detail work around the door jams and through out the cabin. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a remote and scenic getaway. Everything was as described by the owners. Our children who are all in their twenties, want to know when we are going back. It was beautiful in the winter and I would love to see it in the summer.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
