Please believe everything that the other reviewers have said about the location. The view from the windows includes the Massachusetts State House with its golden dome, directly across the street, and Boston Common, which is directly in front of the State House. Newbury Street, with all its posh shops & restaurants is a pleasant walk through the park, The Freedom Trail starts in the park and heads into North End (so you are in a perfect spot to start the trail from the beginning). The Cheers bar is on the same road - walk past the State House, along the edge of Boston Common and you will come to it, but you will probably be disappointed. The State House is a "must visit". It's a short walk from 3 stations on the T covering 3 different lines (Red, Blue & Green). The apartment itself is very comfortable. The bathroom has seen better days, but it was adequate & clean, as was the kitchen, which had everything we needed for eating in. The clothes washer & dryer is in a communal room next to the lift, with 2 washers & 2 dryers. Your host supplies the charge card, which may or may not have enough left on it for your needs ($3.50 for a wash & dry). There was enough on it when we stayed, so we didn't need to take the trip down to the 1st floor to recharge it. The acid test is "would I stay here again?" - absolutely, definitely, without any hesitation. It's a very comfortable apartment, with everything you need in a spectacular location.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo unit for 4 nights. It was perfect for us! The unit is clean and bright--like a home away from home--totally comfortable. The owner met us and briefed us on the condo and the surrounding areas and was willing to help if we had any questions. We walked from one end of Boston to another, and we both agreed, that there was nowhere else we would've rather stayed. Everything you need is within minutes of walking, and convenient walking to the major attractions. You will not be sorry staying here!

We stayed here during our prep time for our destination wedding. You can beat the location. It is so close to everything and within walking distance from more than 1 T stop. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. It was very clean and had a very spacious living room, and great bedroom. We had every intention of eating in the kitchen, but the lure of so many great restaurants had us dining out every night. The best part about this place is the rooftop deck. Amazing views of the Boston Common and Capitol! The doorman became our best friend and was so kind and accommodating. The next time we visit Boston (hopefully during our anniversary), we plan to stay here.

We stayed here for seven nights in great comfort. The condo was more spacious and attractive than the photos. Much more freedom than a hotel. Comfortable bed, good WiFi access, everything we needed. Location was brilliant; walking distance to the major sights;minutes from the T and the trolley busses. Met owner on arrival who briefed us on everything. Next door restaurant Scollay Square was handy after a day out and clientele were very chatty. Emmetts pub about 50 yards away did divine onion soup. Walking distance to restaurants of Charles St although the uneven paved sidewalk made walking a little treacherous. Loved Boston, hope to return and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

This is a centrally located flat with good amenities. Many places are close walking distance, and the T line train stations are a short walk away. The bed comfortable, the room quiet albeit with a litle city noise during the night. The flat can get stuffy on the hot days of summer. We would stay here again.

Loved the condo, the location, and Boston!! This was our first trip to Boston and we will definitely come back. This condo is within walking distance to Boston Commons, the Park Street ‘T’ station, Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, the Freedom Trail and much more. Very good restaurants, Scollay Square is right next door and Emmet’s Irish Pub is across the street. Word of warning – it’s on Beacon Hill so there is some uphill walking back to the condo. Navigating around Boston is extremely easy and people were friendly and helpful. Felt totally safe during the day and at night. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. We loved that the building had a concierge available for information about attractions and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book – great value!!

The property is exactly as pictured, and has every imaginable convenience. The owner was especially helpful, and responded quickly to all communication. This immaculate home away from home will be my first choice for all future trips to Boston.

We rented the condo for 3 nights at the tail end of a fall foliage tour. We were not disappointed and the description of the condo was quite accurate. It was especially nice that there were bathroom amenities. The owner was most accommodating and available to answer questions. The condo is centrally located and all the best sights are just walking distance away. The bed was particularly comfortable and that is very important in my book. The only thing that was not in the condo's favor was that the bedroom window did not open and the fresh air would have been nice. A fan was provided though. I would definitely stay here again.

Owner response: Update on the bedroom window: In the summer there is a window air conditioner in the bedroom window so the window does not open. However, the air conditioner does have a fan so either the A/C fan (direct to the outside) or a separate fan can be used. The bedroom window can be opened once the temperatures become moderate and the A/C is removed.

Great! Host was very accessible and helpful. Apartment was very clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Photos are completely accurate, but don't do it justice. Wonderful view of Boston Commons from window. Location is incredible, felt very safe. Easy walk to the Park Street "T", Whole Foods, the park, Newbury Street, and restaurants galore. A bargain for the price! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We've have been frequent visitors to Boston many times and have stayed at many of the nicer hotels (Taj, Parker House and recently the new Liberty) but have never enjoyed our accommodations as we did these. The location and view from the condo and the roof deck are to die for. For a GREAT romantic weekend escape in the best city on the planet, STAY HERE! ps.. helpful restaurant menus and brochures in the condo were helpful also!

Great location, beautiful surroundings, excellent city views. Walk to everything. The rooftop deck is spectacular. I recommend Beacon Hill Bistro (Beacon & Charles) and Scollay Square (right next door)for dining. Wonderful stay!

We had the pleasure of staying here in late September '09 for 4 nights. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Boston. We were less than a 5 minute walk from the subway and the tour trolleys. There was a unique and well stocked convenience store within steps of the lobby front door. We visited the rooftop almost every evening and met many of the local residents. The owners greeted us upon arrival and were very helpful and informative. They provided every amenity possible such as bathroom toiletries, kitchen supplies, cleaning equipment, along with a fabulous new tv. We were 100% satisfied.
