Relax and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Pocono Mountains in this cozy chalet. Located just a short walk from both the West Beach and the Community Center, this home provides easy access to a wide range of activities for both summer and winter vacations.
The main floor of this house has a large, open living room/dining room with cozy fieldstone fireplace (queen sleeper in living room), a family room with two queen size sleeper sofas, TV with cable VCR and DVD player, a full bath, kitchen, and large front deck. A gas grill, hammock and deck furniture are also provided.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. The front room as a queen size bed and cable TV with VCR/DVD. The back bedroom has two twin beds and a cable TV with VCR. A new washer and dryer are available for use in the basement.
Located on Route 423 in the Lake Naomi area, the house is a short ride to all three of the area's best ski spots: 15 minutes to Jack Frost, Big Boulder, and 10 minutes to Camelback. Lake Naomi Club was highlighted in the May 2009 edition of Main Line Today magazine and nicknamed "the other Hamptons.”
Enjoy the lake, 3 heated pools w/water slides, 1 and 2 meter diving boards, 7 sandy beaches, all staffed by certified lifeguards waterfront clubhouse (restaurant/grill), New Recreation Community Center, 18 HarTru & conventional tennis courts, fitness center and a 9-hole golf course. Lake Naomi is perfect for all four seasons.
The main pool is lakeside. Children will have a wonderful time playing in the multiple pools, diving boards and large water slides. There's a full snack bar (burgers, drinks, ice cream, etc.) and restroom/changing facilities. Lake Naomi Tennis Club has 18 Soft Surface courts. There are youth and teen varsity programs, social games, women's league play and men's round robins conducted weekly. Beginner and experienced players can take part in a number of on-site clinics, workshops, and mini-camps.
While powerboats are prohibited on the lake, canoing, kayaking, row boating, windsurfing, and sailing are wonderful ways to spend a day on the water. Sailing lessons are offered throughout the summer.
Summers provide a full calendar of activities for adults and children, including kids club and creative Pre-teen programs. Lake Naomi has a 24-hour medically trained Ranger Patrol equipped with automatic defibrillator's.
