  We loved the location ... Playa is such a great walking city and Hora Feliz is in the best spot to take advantage of that, just as advertised....close to the beach, steps from the north end of 5th Avenue. The hustle and bustle of the location due to the local's great seafood restaurant across the street brought the flavor of Mexico to your doorstep - music late afternoon by traveling minstrels and mariachis. Just pure enjoyment! We loved the friendly, prompt and extraordinarily helpful presence of Daniella! She took time to tell us about the places that she thought we would like to see, considering we had been there before and visited some of the main attractions. She contacted a tour company and set up our reservations; she made phone calls to find out about taxi costs and then made our pick-up reservations for departure. I have never received this kind of service at any other VRBO we have stayed at, and we have stayed at many. Regarding the previous review - We found the European simplicity of the unit refreshing while they were expecting something different than they found, we embraced what we found. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee. When our older and boney hips needed more cushioning for sleep, Daniella provided extra pillows. The unit was decorated attractively - bed appealing, stylish and colorful drapes. The kitchen provided all the basic needs we had! The entire area of the building was attractive with plants at entrances and nooks and crannies everywhere. A new garden was in progress and will add added appeal to the entrance of the building. The owners are engaged in making their VRBO a lovely place to be! We just had a marvelous time in Playa and Hora Feliz was a part of that. Go and see for yourself!!!

  We stated at Horafeliz just last week. The pictures do not reflect the place accurately. It is not even the blue color in the pictures. While Dani was helpful, I cannot say it was enough for me to want to go back. Everything is worn, rusted or tired looking. The furniture is all hard and straight backed. the "couch" is a concrete slab with a 2 inch foam pad. The stove needed a lighter to light burner. the bathroom light switch didn't work most times. It is close to the cool shops and restaurants on the north end of 5th ave. The beach is further than listed but is a easily walkable distance. This was our 7th trip to Playa in seven years and we choose the condo based on websites and this is the first time we were not completely happy with our stay. The area is very safe and the condo was clean. The dogs barking across the street were loud a few nights. We visited with other people staying there and they were all pleasant. Over all it is safe, it is clean, the owners were helpful, but if you are looking for a condo comfort like you find in the USA or Canada, this may not be for you.

We are very proud of our condo and our guests are always very happy and they come back to visit us very often. We live at the condo and we like to take care of all our guests the better way we can. Now … about this review I would like to spend a few words: The condo is not blue colour anymore… it’s true! Excuse us for renovate/refresh the all building and change the colour to a light cream and chocolate colour , all our neighbours, friends and guests just love it ! I will put a new picture on the website as soon as possible. This unit in particular is a 2 bedrooms apartment with a large living room with a 6 feet couch with a lot of giants pillows , polyurethane foam seat cover in 100% cotton fabric, we always found it very comfy and no one ever complained about it. The stove needs a lighter to light burners ! yes it’s true … I don’t understand what the problem is. The beach is really a few steps from the condo: less than 200 meters ! there is no way someone could lie about this! (try google maps!) This is a very quiet and nice and safe area, “mariachi” are playing music for a while during the afternoon and everybody is just happy and relaxed. .. I don’t hear dogs barking during the night (?). 80% of our guests are from the States and Canada, we’ve been taking care of them over the last 9 years and i feel very lucky because I can share time with friendly, happy and pleasant people all the time.

  We had a great time in the condo. Everything was perfect and the location was close to beach and stores. We loved the balcony and the Pescaderia across the street. Daniela was very helpful and available when we needed help. Thanks

  We stayed with Dani and Marco from January 27th to February 5th...we are already planning our trip back! Dani is possibly the sweetest lady I've ever met...she was very helpful and answered any question that we threw at her. The room was quite nice and was kept very clean. The location is far enough away from the noise of 5th avenue, but close enough to walk over in less than 5 minutes when you do feel like partying. The best seafood restaurant (El Pirata, in our opinion) is right across the street! The beach is also a 5 minute walk away...everything we wanted within minutes of our accomodation. This apartment complex is well worth the money...Thanks again Dani and Marco...and of course, Diego for making our stay so great! See you next year!

  We recently stayed at Condo Horafeliz and loved it! We would definitely stay there again and wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures are a perfect representation of the condo. It is very conveniently located to the beach, 5th Ave, and 30th Ave (where the grocery and authentic restaurants are located). We felt extremely safe at all times during the day and night. We considered renting a car and didn't this time, however in the future we definitely will as driving in this area is very easy and safe (but you certainly don't have to rent a car to get around!). It's the perfect size for 2 people. We really enjoyed the 2 different balconies. There is a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals or store your cold water and beer! The only complaint we have is that the bed is slightly hard. Regardless we would still stay at Condo Horafeliz again!

  My husband and I rented this condo for 5 days...it was perfect! A short walk to awesome beaches and the shops on 5th Avenue...lots of cool, authentic restaurants nearby too. Kitchen was great, as was the rest of the condo, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners, Daniela and Marco were fabulous as well...i highly recommend Horafeliz and would definitely come back!

  I recommend this place to anyone, especially to families! I stayed here from Dec, 24th to Jan 1st. The condo is located in a strategic location. It's quiet at night, in a safe neighborhood, but it's a 5 min walk to the thrill of the main shopping area (Quinta avenida), and a 10 min walk to an AMAZING coral white sand beach with sapphire blue ocean... The rooms are cozy, full of personality (unlike many hotels) and have all what you may need: it's fully furnished and the kitchenette has a toaster, a coffee machine, a food processor, plates, pans, etc. The bathroom has a hair dryer, and service includes everyday cleaning, bath and beach towels. Internet wi-fi works ok. Just in front, a fabulous restaurant "El pirata" serves the most incredible seafood, and just around the corner a very affordable laundromat is there in case you need it. Daniela and Marco, the owners, did a great job at helping us out with any kind of service. Airport transportation, guided tours, car rental and, most importantly, help tailored to your needs. Our 17 m.o. boy just loved the location and slept all the nights! Daniela and Marco arranged a crib for us (it was available upon reservation). They fluently speak at least English, Italian and Spanish, and they were often anticipating our needs, before we even asked for their help. They don't only do their job, but they put heart and soul in it! I couldn't say any better about Hora Feliz!

  My sister and I and our dog, Coco had a fantastic time staying at HoraFeliz. The apartment is just what we needed- simple, clean and adorable! It's only a few steps from the beach and is on the quieter side of 5th Avenue. The hosts- Daniela, Marco y Diego are the best- very helpful and just delightful. We definitely will be back!

  Hora Feliz is like having your own condo in Playa, but if you need anything Dany and Marco are there for you. Our stay was awesome! Dany's photos speak the truth, our condo was just like the pictures- clean, fresh, and cute. The kitchen was a plus, we ate in a couple of nights and it was great. Wonderful restaurants, awesome ocean, beach bars, and shopping all within a very short walking distance. We couldn't have been more happy with your stay at Hora Feliz(: This was exactly the vacation my husband and I needed!!!

  We enjoyed 12 days at Condo Hora Feliz. The property was cleanand comfortable. Daniela and Marco were wonderful. The location was perfect, just far enough from 5th to really enjoy Playa. We hope to return again, if we do we will definately stay at Condo Hora Feliz. Thank you, Keith and Robin
