Catch your breathe at THE BREEZE, Tamarindo's finest and newest modern luxury retreat. Situated just 150 meters from the beach, our superb vacation home lie nestled in a perfect tropical setting. A magnificently preserved Guanacaste tree accentuates the ground's beauty. Lush tropical gardens are woven around this sensational two-bedroom, two bathroom jewel, which opens up to a cascading split-level pool and lounging area - perfect for a dip in the water or an afternoon of soaking up Costa Rica's rich rays of sun.
Enjoy the sublimely open sensation, a feeling of being one with nature. The front of the house is wall-to-wall glass, providing a window to many of Costa Rica's natural delights, from the sunbathing iguanas to a variety of vibrant birds and the Howler monkeys who all cohabitate in the surrounding trees. Dine outdoors on your covered patio as you take in all the sites, sounds and scents that breeze by.
Sleekness and simple elegance are synonymous with THE BREEZE. From the living room's stylish red sofa to the bedroom's tasteful mixture of a European duvet cover with Ralph Lauren bed linens, the décor has been meticulously chosen to blend boutique hotel-style intimacy with a flair for the cosmopolitan.
Among the many amenities are air conditioning in the bedrooms, 2 flat screen TV's, hi-speed wireless internet, daily 24-hour security within a gated community, free maid service, and babysitting and laundry services for a minimal fee. The Breeze accommodates 4 to 6 people.
The first bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds (easily converted into a king-sized bed). Both bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, and sliding glass doors open up onto each bedroom's patio.
Our fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster-oven and coffee maker, along with contemporary dishes, cookware and silverware.
Dine in or out, as Tamarindo offers a host of excellent restaurants, many within walking distance from your perfectly situated vacation home. In fact, THE BREEZE is located in the heart of Tamarindo, where you'll find shops, banks, markets, restaurants, bars, business centers, exercise studios and language schools and more, and of course utterly fantastic surf.

Why the Owner Chose Tamarindo
Although a small surfing village, Tamarindo is a highly international community with people from all over the world choosing to live in a serene, beautiful environment. We saw Tamarindo as an upcoming Hawaii, yet offering an international flair. A country full of adventure, we found so much to do in Costa Rica, such as great surf for both novices and experienced surfers, ATV off-roading and mountain biking, yoga galore, great dining due to many fabulous ex-patriot chefs coming from all around the world, and so many exciting animal sightings that no one goes home feeling deprived of a wonderful howl or two from a Howler Monkey or a beautiful birdsong from one of a multitude of exotic birds. And in all of today's chaos, Costa Rica continues to maintain it's reputation as one of the most peaceful places in the world.

Also at the Breeze you have the ability to cook your own meals in your own fully equipped kitchen, shop in a market steps away from your vacation home, or just stroll down the road for a delicious meal in one of the many wonderful restaurants. Our gorgeous trees on the property are home to the big, green iguanas, a variety of beautiful birds and the great Howler monkeys. Wireless access reaches all the way to the hammock, where you will be taking a well-deserved nap.

We met in Los Angeles eleven years ago. We both love traveling and have been all around the world. Friends living in Costa Rica enticed us to visit, and we fell in love with both the country and the small community, Tamarindo, where we now live. We built the Breeze ourselves and have received many accolades for contributing to the beauty and enhancement of Tamarindo. Prior to becoming proprietors, we had a successful handbag business, which we still run as well. We are the creators of this beautiful line of hand-embroidered handbags named Papillon. In my 30's, I (Rhonda) was a freelance photographer for Associated Press in Los Angeles and Paris, France, and my husband, Jean Marc, created beautiful bed and table linens in Hong Kong. We are a fun-loving couple, love the outdoors, and raising our lovely daughter, four dogs, and one cat.

The property was exactly as described. The accomadations were clean and the daily service was excellent. Jean Marc and Rhonda were fantastic hosts. The beach is just a short walk away, and ammenities are close by. We had a fantastic 3 weeks there and would highly recommend this to any one who is looking for a relaxing holiday. Hopefully we will return in 2012 for a month.Thanks again to Rhonda and Jean Marc.

We had a great stay, perfect combination of poolside suite and ocean adventure 2 minutes away. Grounds are very lush, clean and the service was fabulous. restaurants and bars are very close, again a few minutes away. We fished, sailed, surfed, shopped, and relaxed.

We couldn't have asked for more! Fantastic 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (huge showers), well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, great outdoor eating space, bbq area and the georgeous outdoor scenery of The Breeze was exactly what our family of four needed. The staff were very helpful with everything from meeting us upon arrival to washing our laundry at a VERY reasonable rate. Beautiful beach and fantastic restarants are within a short walk from The Breeze. If you choose to eat in and cook there is a supermarket within a very short walk as well. I highly recommend a morning smoothy which you can easily whip up with the blenders provided. We travelled with our two young children; ages 5 and 3. All we had to do was put on their swimsuits, life jackets and some SPF and they were ready for the day! The pool was more than fun for our whole family. Thank you Jean Marc and Rhonda for an incredible experience in Tamarindo! Would I recommend this villa? Absolutely!

This place will not disappoint. Perfect because there are 2 separate bedrooms and a common area, including a kitchen. All of the furniture and fixtures are new and it is conveniently located to the beach and the main drag.

First of all, I would like to thank Rhonda and Jean Marc (Owners) for their hospitality and for making our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. The Breeze is the perfect oasis in the heart of Tamarindo and provides wonderful accommodations and amenities. From listening to the tranquil sound of the waterfall, to reading a book or enjoying breakfast and coffee poolside, to keeping up with current events on the flatscreen, to the luxury linens, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Also, The Breeze is centrally located only one block from the beach, market, wonderful restaurants and boutique shops. Thank you so much Rhonda for all your recommendations and thank you Jean Marc for tiring me out on the tennis court at the Tamarindo Tennis Club. The Breeze is a wonderful place and I am already looking forward to coming back!

We just returned from our vacation and really enjoyed our stay at The Breeze. The description online is accurate, but the pictures don't do the property justice. The owners spared no expense when creating this property. The location is very close to the beach and downtown (3 minute walk to both), but also provides the serenity of a quiet getaway. There is a common BBQ area that is great for grilling up your own meal and meeting some of the other guests in the complex. Property has full time care takers that look after any immediate needs and also provide 24 hour security. The owners are very accessible (ran into them every day) and were very helpful in providing travel information and arranging tours. Highly recommend you check out this property!
